What are some good things about the 1.1 patch?

So far I'm happy with the overload change. That's nice...

But beyond that, I kinda wish this patch hadn't come out. The module name changes, the new neocom... but since I haven't looked that deep into the patch, I figured I'd ask here:

What are some things you like about this patch and why? Are you happy it came out?

The only update I've been happy about in the last few months was Time Dilation's implementation by CCP Veritas. Everything else has been at best ho-hum.

Oh and the cap reduction changes on the t2 triage modules!

The Chimera is still terrible and assault ships are now just like all the other frigates with a microwarpdrive bonus.

Unarguably a good change, fantastic for scouts and tinfoil hat enthusiasts. It's also optional.

POS fuel schedule displays in the new ingame calendar.
(the calendar in general)

Better viewable price/currency formatting.

Aside from the already said AF change; I liked watch list dragging and extra wl slots. It doesn't make up for everything else though.
Also: The collision for Acceleration gates has been resized to reduce the possibility of ship entanglement when initiating gate acceleration. Back in the day of missions that was really annoying. And
The largest stars have had their brightness reduced. Hopefully when cynos go up on suns I wont go blind now.

They got a fourth bonus and needed it... And there were some assault ships that were already nice such as the Jag, that are even better now.

Not to mention the ones that really needed more lows or mids finally got them. ;)

And the triage 2 modules are great... Especially on an Archon.

Pretty cool about the acceleration gates... I haven't run missions for years, but I remember how annoying it was to get snagged on an accel gate and trying to cancel warp, or manually adjust direction would just keep telling you that you can't do that while in warp. ;)

The 400 dps dual-prop face tanking Enyo I'll enjoy. Yeah.. 400 dps dual-prop frig with a 1500 hp hull..

OH is nice.. neocom and name changes annoy me, simply cause I am not used to them. I am sure in time I'll learn to like the neocom, and understand it is a step up from before and just flat out better (while needing a couple of lil quark adjustments/additions).

Compact list.. as stated <3.

Null bonus.. don't think was needed, but okey dokes.. Thanks!

Great patch.

No need to boost once you change system or undock with leadership skills how freaking cool is that?

AF is awesome patch. 5% more resist for the Harpy and more low slots hell yes!

Neocon has been needing modernizing for a long time. I love the new one some things will take time to get used to but was really needed. I like the slide over icons I always hated the slide down and no idea which one I needed to click so I just clicked them all sometimes. Made window management much more simple at least for those who can think far better than the old one.

Love the idea that the agents have offered or accepted no longer a need to go pee and come back and undock without accepting a mission.

Still think blaster ammo needs little more tweaking from my experience which was limited tonight but still I like how they are incremental now instead of going crazy with things. Tune it slowly and it will shine and be there sooner or later. May be balanced now need to break out large and medium but small seemed nice especially with the tracking in lower slot of Harpy. Helped with optimal and falloff of course may be better off with 3rd damage mod not sure yet. Only a few hours in.

Over all an awesome patch and love the new consolidated neocon with the browser bookmarks and logs etc. Much easier to click and get what you want.

Yeah the stuck on gates was stupid glad they looked into that. Actually mission runners have to be quiet we got some love in this one even if small they were nice changes.

Hey, forum mods. Wake up.

Get on the stick.

THIS thread needs to be locked with the others, because there is ANOTHER place for discussing the patch.

Keep in all in one threadnought, yeah?

Well, it did have a few long-overdue updates/fixes that were missing in the initial Crucible expansion (read patch notes). Other than that, it's not suppose to be about 'ho-hum' anyways as this is just a mere patch. Crucible did bring about major changes in its initial release, but everyone is now focused on the up-coming summer expansion (assuming it comes this summer as usual) which should improve even more of the major issues that plague us today such as (and this is just my personal preference - you can add to it if you like):

1. That damn door needs to be opened for once. At least let me walk through the hallways as it's a lot better than being couped up inside a garage-sized room.

2. CQ needs a little more optimization as it still takes a while to load. Other than that, it's working just fine (haven't had any stutters lately).

3. Sound effects are a bit quirky still. The sound of the strip miners tend to run even when the modules are deactivated.

4. What's very important to many of us miners is the reformation of the mining career.

5. Are the mission rats still permajamming people?

6. Allow players to manufacture NeX items.
