Great job on successfully building a new wing on the house built out of cooked spaghetti code.

I simply love working with that code Roll It never fails to cause excitement. (See my signature...)

Am I the only one who has lost ability to ctrl+c, ctrl+v to buy/sell order isk amount box. In addition to that, who in their right mind decided it no longer accepts .(dot) and only accepts ,(comma) for below 1 isk unit separation. TBH that I found by accident when trying to figure out wtf for the ctrl+v of perfectly viable number string no longer works. And yes, dot is not the reason because it can copypaste stuff with dot in (it just treats the dot as nonexistent, leading to hilariously overpriced stuff etc) meanwhile copypaste attempts with comma in them fail outright. Please sort this out, whoever in CCP decided to fubar with simple ctrl+c/ctrl+v functions.

Correction, you can, they just cant have comma(,) in them. If they have dot(.) the code ignores it totally, so sum of 1.01 isk becomes 101 isk copypasted while 1,01 isk becomes ... yeah it doesnt become anything.

If the point was to make is simpler to search for the correct modules in the market, what's the reason behind these names?

Meta 1 - Upgraded
Meta 2 - Limited
Meta 3 - Experimental
Meta 4 - Prototype

Named by rarity I think.

Ehm , not sure if you guys checked all the modules that use the renamed Missiles,

Cause my 'Arbalest' Siege Missile Launcher still says following: "Must be loaded with torpedoes: Bane, Inferno, Juggernaut, Mjolnir. "

It's all nice and all that you guys rename the stuff, but please try to keep it consistent. Cause now people won't be able to find Bane/Inferno/Juggernaut Torpedoes on the market and will go --> WTF Shocked where are the torpedoes.

Hate the new fuel block thing. Why was this change added? I still haven't seen any reason for why this change was needed. My fuel costs are now around 40% higher ... and for what?? Evil

The new neocom is trash too. I'm sure someone will make a summary of all of the lost functionality.

Thankfully the new compact user list for chat windows is awesome! One bright spot in this horrible update.

I guess CCP is going back to their old ways. 2 updates then back to adding crap nobody wants.

Yup, Our single large POS will now cost an Additional 1.4 bil per year to run.
The reasoning?
I guess it's to keep CCP's friends at Sony happy, got to make it all simpler for the knuckle dragging PS3 users??

Much the same with missile and module renaming. Another lovely example of p*ssing off existing users (you remember us, the people who have been paying the money to CCP for years).

How did that work for you with the Ship spinning removal?
I find it really hard to believe all these changes passed through Sisi without people bringing their opinions forward, or was it that CCP just sat in the corner with fingers in ears going "Laaa laa laa la lala"

The update broke my game client. I think i'm going to quit eve cause i'm ick of leaving my computer on all the time so it can spend a day trying to download the game over and over again.

OMFG, I hate the new UI. I didn't ask for this, but am stuck with it. Can you guys just work on the stuff that is actually broken in the game, and leave the stuff alone that actually works?

Yes. It is terrible

- WHY did you make it transparent, did you forget all the rage about transparent capacitor that is STILL too transparent?
Making neocom transparent
1 eats GPU cycles
2 doesnt do ANYTHING for usability
3 actually makes it HARDED to see neocom icons

- WHY did you make neocom buttons animated???
1 eats GPU cycles
2 doesnt do ANYTHING for usability

- WHY did you add pointless minimize/maximize animations?
1 eats GPU cycles
2 doesnt do ANYTHING for usability

all in all my FPS dropped by 10 on NV 8800GT just because of animated semi transparent neocom.

NO ONE ASKED YOU to make UI OSX like with pointless animations and shiny transparency.

ps: on first dock my EVE crashed.

Love the new UI, thanks for the work. Lets me fix almost everything that ever bugged me about the old neocom.

If I had to ask for any change, it would be to make a fitting browser button available to put on there, since I look at that alot more than I look at current fitting.

EVE Online: Crucible 1.1 is scheduled for deployment during an extended downtime on Tuesday, January 24. Downtime will begin at 11:00 UTC and is expected to be completed by 12:00 UTC.

you guys really should stop with those time schedules since i never ever had a single extended downtime that had no extended extended downtime and possible emergency server reboots.

those schedules are more of a gamble anyway :)

Damn right you are.

CCP should just write "will take a few hours" or "will take 2-5 hours" and stop embarrassing themselves. Good project managers don't trust estimation of their fellow project members anyway, and estimate times based on previous performance and heuristics. I've some studies at hand but my gut says, nobody wants to read such thing here. ;-)

Agreed.

One should always strive to under-promise and over-deliver.

Heh, I used to work for an Engineering Firm that had this very motto. Worked very well. Sux about the patch delays, Typical. Makes me glad I'm at work in these moments and is typically fixed by the time I get home to play. Blink

Whomever said, "You only get one shot to make a good impression," was utterly wrong. I've made plenty of great impressions with my Autocannons 

"blink wallet on transaction change" blinks even when there are NO transactions made, all you have to do is edit one of the orders and it will start to blink
well it doesnt really blink, it animates ....

FFS CCP give us a way to turn off all those transparencies and animations in GUI.

right click in a blank area, there is a turn blink off option.

FFS people, look for the option instead of going forum rage.
