Last post here.

These forums were a good place an did had fun with them. In a way I am relieved that The Greater Fool Bar is archived rather than deleted (for the time being), but on the other hand, this turns a page in the story of EVE and me.

You just can't play a game for years and think and write passionately about it for years without that having an impact on who you are and who you will be.

Sometimes I think my life would be better without EVE. Sometimes I think it would just be different. How, I don't know. Can't tell. And don't care. If I had to care about everything I missed to be... nothing would beat the years of my depression. I've never been young, FAI.

So frankly, what I might have done differently with my life just because of EVE... it's neglectable.

And I agree with everyone, not only has there been a lot of information shared over the years, there's also been a lot of sentiment invested into these forums. Everything from passionate debates about volatile topics to humorous nonsensical threads causing players to experience all kinds of emotions, joy, hate, sorrow, awe, bewilderment, etc.

Personally I doubt the new forums will ever come close to matching the magnitude of feelings that were generated in these forums. I for one will definitely miss them.

I salute these old forums and all the memories they've created.

Hi DMC and all. Nice screenshots. I'll surely miss the CQ. At least we still have the EVE Monument,right?
