They say if something is not broke do not fix it.

Never once Have I made a suggestion to CCP but I am going to make one now.

Meta.eveonline.com ..... Looks like crap feels like crap. Scrap it and cut your losses.

It is not going to go well.

From a performance standpoint do not work anymore so what would you do?

Unfortunately we all have to accept the fact CCP is going with the new forums so if we all want to continue posting in the Eve Online Forums, we're gonna have to do it there.

'EVE Universe' drop down menu is also missing there. You still can get into some of it functionality, like account management, but you have to look how to do it. Again.

I understand, that CCP tryed to get into mobile devices style of GUI, but from what I have heard mobile device owners has bigger troubles with new forum as well. And how many of us use mobile devices to read / post in forum?

Yeah, there's a thread posted by Erika Mizune in the new forums that has links to various User Scripts that actually makes the new forums much more user friendly.

I downloaded the TamperMonkey Browser Addon for my Firefox Browser, then added the UserScript: 120x120 Avatar Size along with the Corp/Alliance script, Eve Forums Color Edit script and the Eve Forums Portal Menu script.

After refreshing my Browser, it looks pretty good, course you still have to scroll through the threads but the good thing about the new forums is that when you click on a thread you last visited, it automatically takes you to where you were the last time you visited it.

Anyway, those scripts might make the new forums more enjoyable for you.

so you have to do extra mile to get what you had ? Damn, nice going CCP. CCP will do what they wanna do, but one from other hand i m gonna do what i wanna do.

I thought these forums were locked? I was on yesterday and they were.... Maybe I'm going crazy?

I tried the new forum, hated it, removed it from my computer, so when this forum goes down that's it for me as far as the forum goes.

Nothing. Literally nothing. Other than images not working here (although CCP have proved that they do work because Falcon).

It's because they want to be edgy modern and cool by going to a route that no one wants them to do, but because they fethed up their testing system - you do not go into full production of the gas a forum after approval from a small set of individuals.

How many forums did CCP test? And why did they not offer up the more popular designs for further testing by a larger base, rather than going full pants on head and going "HERE IS AM BEST FORUMS." and then promptly ignoring all issues.

Seriously, CCP - you need to get your head in the goddamn game here. You are making a terrible mistake with the Discourse forums, and you are too blinded by its shine to actually step back, take a look, think, and realise how crap it really is.

As i said before, i will only use these old forums, current forums, i will not use new forums because new forums are UI nightmare and ugly.
When old forums are gone i am also gone from the forums, i think i'll switch to reddit/eve
