Fit a Prospect for Null mining

I suck at this game and need some advice. I'd like to be able to get warped off super effing quick and avoid the initial tackle and hit the coverts ops clock on my way to dock.

Whilst sucking on Rocks it would be prudent to keep local either separate or on the end of the chat windows - this way you can see any changes almost immediately. In Null local is your friend :)

Whilst emptying the aforementioned Rocks keep DSCAN open and ping it regular to get an idea of what is moving where. If you are mining in null and low and not using dscan and local you are dead.

Mine aligned too is another good tactic - this way if anyone gets past your local and dscan defences you can gtfo. Though if you are using the two tips no one should land on your grid unannounced - unless its a cloaky... But Cloakys can take a while to lock you and if aligned you are gone off grid in two secs.

Also - Don't mine at the warp in to belt - burn to the other side of the belt - the extra distance can make all the difference.

Your sensible post will be ignored. There seems to be a new breed of EvE player, one that feels "entitled" to keeping their stuff when they are stupid.

What has been killing you? Sabers, Inties or somethign else?

This is the gas fit that i use in WHs space, it can get away from a saber even if scrammed . a Saber does not have great sensor strength so the burst works well, just burst and hit overheated prop, then burst and repeat until they are in reload for bubbles and you are out of the last bubble then warp away. (I have personally escaped in hull from a scram fit Saber using this)

Adjust as per your taste and mining type.

If you want to use a prospect then you should move to a region where you can mine gas (EVE Uni has a page on these constellations) however if you want to stay independent then in some regions it is possible to quite easily ninja mine it. Disregard the above fit as it is for WH's and won't survive in any sort of nullsec environment.

*Note this fit will only work in an environment of sustained dps, if you don't properly cycle your harvesters I recommend to bring the first fit with faction invuln, extender, and pithi a type shield booster fit as well as porpoise with an ORE Mindlink and shield boosts as well as cycle time boosts + some reps and light drones.

Also remember to adjust your tank to specific sites

Is it that hard to sit on corporation TS and get audio cues to any neutrals/hostiles spotted?
Plus, if you missed the moment of them actually spotting you and dropping on you, your cloak won't help.
Now get your procurer pants on and find yourself some Chip'n"Dale Rescue Rangers.
