Total skill points update and extraction

So I'm a skill farm, just activated a MCT, started a 20 day skill and...
The total skill points in my character sheet hasn't updated in a couple hours. Which is frustrating because I was sitting at 5480000 skill points and the next extraction is only 20k SP away.

Does that total skill points only update when you finish training a skill? So I should either train shorter skills or extract after 20 days?

Or I'm just impatient and the total *will* update in a short while?

Edit: I'm talking about the ingame character sheet, not evemon or other tools.

maybe you need stop for a second the training close skill queue, open again and be reflected.

That happen to me many times

All character bazaar done. Finally 39 pilot and 3 can be killed later. This account will be used only for forum interaction, fly safe.

Well, after adding and removing a 2 hour skill and waiting, the skill points started increasing, so I think I was just impatient. Problem solved.

I would still like to know how often my total skill points are updated, if anybody knows.

You just have to stop training and restart.
then close your character profile and re-open.

You can update it one point at a time if you wanted. It's instant. Just gotta close and open the character profile each time.

Well, better solution is having EVEmon uptime all time. Myself stop each onw or two days long trainings (+3 days) and get the skill updated when close and open the skill screen.

Generally, skill points showed by Evemon are accurate, more than the LCS (character lying screen), but match when you stop and start queue.

Yea, it hasn't updated since I posted that I'm just impatient :) Turns out i wasn't.
Guess I'll restart the skill queue before extracting skills and such.
