Have you read the grid-fu pdf that the Goons made?

It is a fairly interesting read and explains how to change the grid size.

Sounds like someone shrank the grid, which is considered an exploit and imo should be reported. Not sure if the logs would show the grid boundaries at the time. But if they are recorded and an inquisitive GM found a grid wall 100km from a gate, I think he might go looking for the person responsible.

That being said, I doubt the logs are that in-depth.

Opening your mouth when you're totally clueless is rarely a good idea. Straight

The ONLY exploit associated with grid-fu was when a titan could DD the entire grid. That's it.

I take it you haven't cheaked jita undock lately, there's usually an inflated grid all the way to the moon for seeing undock several 100km's away for obvious reasons. Lol
but the fact is that grids can't be easily changed as they are something that destiny (physics engine) and therefore entire EVE are built upon.

Glad you asked. I used to work as a paid forum moderator for a very large news aggregation site that makes CCP's forums look tiny. CCP's "12 hours later or never" approach to moderation and keeping threads on topic and in the right places is embarrassing to anyone who's worked as a modmin.

Why have all those areas when everyone just dumps whatever in GD?

I also do it sometimes to find out who is easily annoyed.

Carry on!

I am sad you responded :(

You are embarrassing yourself at the moment and yet I don't feel the need to redirect you to the compulsive annoyard section.

Also: Gird-fu is an interesting tactic, I don't think it is easily "fixed" though since it has to do with how eve's basic shaping of space works. Perhaps they'd be able to enlarge the current grids so that expanding grids or falling of the grids would be inconsequential because of to large?

To the OP, you should really post this in the little things thread for CCP Soundwave.

The thread will now be locked as it has just degenerated into a name calling flame war.
