You are certainly right with your investment approach and i did the same in the past but with less risk e.g. when Burner missions were announced i bought out all small deadspace AB/MWD and armor repairs in every trading hub.
The risks i see are the timing factor which affects the time changes to be reflected in the market and of course investing in the right BS. As of now i see a huge position only in Machs and Rattle because of demand and utility. Any other BS i would only take a very small position.

I don't think there's one approach that's right or wrong for everyone. I think it's more horses for courses. I reckon a player with more eve time could make a bigger return on my ISK by doing more smaller and faster investments.

I think where the skill in trading comes in is making the assessments, as you have done, about which pirate battleships to invest in and why. Being as illiquid as I am I didn't have much spare cash lying around to put into this so I spread what I had around a small selection of the PBSs. It's probably why I was done quickly and everyone else is taking their time - they have more money to invest and need to do it slowly.

These things used to be worth over a billion each. I would not be surprised to see them settle a bit over that.
