Skill Training Queue Stops For No Reason!

You did not fix it though, you can't expect thousands of people to log in to resume training? It is vacation period. A lot of people (me included) are away from computers and can't log in to fix **** you caused :/

I unsubbed all my paid accounts, this is one of the last straws really.


Edit - I also checked the "news" link posted by GM. To this hour it doesn't even acknowledge there is any kind of bug. Yay for communication /o/


Can I have your stuff, since you won't be playing EvE anymore?

The issue here isn't those who were able to restart their queue. I'd bet CCP comes in with 50k unallocated SP to make people whole. The bigger issue is those players who don't know to check and manually restart the queue, or are not able to login (vacation, military deployment, etc.) for whatever reason. Even if CCP can restart queues from their end, some queues were apparently wiped. How they deal with those issues is a much bigger problem.

At this time I can't see a report of this in the bug report queue - can someone who is experiencing this issue please provide me a bug report number? (EBR number, found here - https://community.eveonline.com/support/bug-reports/my-bug-reports/)

I have just got into work and discovered this error - not home for 8-10 hours; will paused omega accounts be restarted by you (CCP)? If not, please can you notify me as soon as possible, so I can make arrangements? If this has just been a lazy way to reset the ghost training bug, will you be compensating those of us not involved who this has impacted? Feel like I am being punished for other peoples crimes.

Bare minimum get all subbed skill queues running again* and start thinking about a sweetener and a bit of compensation for the lost SP.

*I can't travel home on my lunch break just to restart skills on a spaceship game, I'm a grown up, daggnammit!!

EDIT: took way to long to type this and some answers have appeared in the mean time, soz.

If they legitimately had their account subbed while they were away, even if it took them 6 months or perhaps even a year before they got back to their computer. If they were to petition the issue, I'm sure CCP would sort it out.

Can we stop making a big deal about hypothetical ways in which CCP can screw their customers out of SP here, when in the past this is one of the areas where CCP has nearly always made things right in the end? There are plenty of things to complain about when it comes to CCP, but reimbursing skill points when they screw up and players lose training time as a result of it, is not one of those things.

Can you at the same time take care of Ghost Traning.

It is quite unfair that you can train omega skills and at omega speed on unsubscribed accounts.
This actually forces people to do the same if they don't want to stay behind of others.

Some people run hundreds of characters this way - generating almost 1.7b per character or income at monthly basis.
Declare it as exploit - as without this you are sanctioning this as another game mechanic.

I've passed in on to channels where people claimed this occurred. Hopefully they file a bug report. It was less common than the queue pause, but several people commented about it randomly happening.

Amen. I just returned to the game after a ~3 year break and was rather shocked (in the most clickbaity kind of way) to hear of this exploit with the whole skill injectors thing.

(Personally I'd rather see the skill injectors gone. I've paid for my account on and off since January 2004, to train skills, and have always thought of the skills queue as an immutable factor - that you have to spend the time to train the skills, it's not something you can buy).

Please mark as exploit.

Hmmmm, got the news fra facebook early in my timezone, did log in and restarted two of my Omega's.
Went to work and made a app check, one of my Omega's that I restarted was 'paused' again :-(
Now it's active but a other of my Omega's are now 'paused'.
And.......... will not be home for many-many hours.........
No need to write........I'm not happy.....

Not dev make decision about reimburses. Their job to find and stop the bug. And this post has all the information you have to know at the moment. 1 - It is fixed, 2 - You don't have to do anything, 3 - Your loss is signed, and GMs will deicide how to reimburse (every time we got reimbursed if something like this happened). Stop bitching pls

You not played for 3 years. You now play, and you would like to remove something. Only I feel that something is not straight here? Like CCP should form the game to those, who not play it...

I just logged on and saw both of mine were stopped so I restarted them and came here to see if it was a me problem or a general problem.

Manual restarting seems to have worked so I'll wait and see what happens next. I had just enough dual training to get an alt freighter going but I'm not sure that I do now.

This probably increased number of people who logged in in the past 16 hours by at least 100%. Working as intended.

Workarounds are not bugfixes.
