Kaely I know you are not a ganker, you were the WT part of CODE. You seemed to have glossed over the fact that gankers use the protection of CONCORD for the bumpers. I have noticed a number of mercs getting on kills of criminals in hisec, I don't think they are wussies!, In any case most of my efforts were in logi wit the odd bit of bumping out of optimal in the mix too, I did try to remove some high DPS gankers a few times before CONCORD, I have one KM where I did almost all the damage on Globby, which CONCORD whored on, but like war deckers I shot criminals when passing, just having fun P.

Many of those people are having fun, even if it is ineffective which I know it is. The serious guys in AG are either in logi, intercepting gankers on gates, ganking the bumpers or ECM'ing gankers and I get the impression with your comments on Jenn that you recognise them, which is good. Serious AG players let them have fun and then try to channel them into more effective game play, it is the way of Eve.

I should point out that my comment on shuttles and noobs in the pipes was to highlight the perception of many people towards hisec war deckers which is as misguided as your comment on AG, hisec mercs do more than that and are difficult to hunt too.

The use of CONCORD as a protection for the bumper is a valid criticism which is much worse than people shooting criminals in passing, I notice you avoided that one, can't say I blame you.

By the way I thought a nullbear was someone who just runs the sites in 0.0 and never helps in home defence and makes a token showing in CTA's, certainly cannot be applied to me. Big smile

Anyway I made my point so I will end this with:


Marrmite the hisec war deckers with staying power.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

On the other hand I would like to see you taking a fight instead of cramming double prop mods on your ships and still failing to get out.
