I appear to have lost all client side notifications of how much plex/omega time I have left on my account.

This used to be visible on the character selection screen and in the character sheet, now, nothing.

Maybe this is what CCP considers fixed?

Plex should be an item in inventory, not some "vault" that shows up in every inventory window as it would be something more important than drones or ship equipment. Are we shooting "plex ammo" or spend it to warp faster or something? (heavy sarcasm, those are not ideas!).

I understand some players could be confused about perma-loss and dying with plex in cargo, but the game features include "estimated cargo value", "DPS" and "effective hitpoints" so people with IQ above 70 that can divide and add 2+2 presumably came to the conclusion that undocking with 10 billion estimated cargo and 3.000 EHP is a bad idea.
As for the rest, they won't be able to put plex in the vault anyway, that requires at least 3 brain cells to do.
You guys try to dumb down the game so even amebas can play it?

I dig the rest of the update, including merging plex with AUR and the structure billboards (troll potential).

I'd like to see some responses from a CCP employee to the this 119.5 feedback forum, which I presume was created by CCP with the intent of collecting feedback.

CCP reps, even if you cannot commit to granting any of the requests on a feedback forum, and even if you disagree with them, you should at least post occasionally to show that you are reading the feedback and explain how you are passing it back to developers and tracking the topics for resolution.

There are clearly ~5 main feedback topics that have been repeatedly discussed on this thread and raised by multiple customers so they warrant a timely response from CCP.

Otherwise just close the thread and post a sign saying CCP is not interested in feedback.

Great sentiment - Sadly that is NOT how feedback threads work on these forums.

Devs say they do monitor their threads regarding feedback and to their credit some changes have been made over the years due to feedback. It is a rare thing though for Devs to take general feedback seriously and Never will you see a Dev post in one of their own threads unless it is to acknowledge the minority who believe Devs can do no wrong.

I'm still waiting for the day I can remotely view contents of cans/ships in the new structures. I imagine that will be a long time coming, if ever.

Several Fanfests ago CCP Seagul told us all, communication between Devs and players would get better - Still waiting..

My opinions are mine.

  If you don't like them or disagree with me that's OK.- - - - - - Just don't bother Hating - I don't care

It really is getting harder and harder to justify $23 a month for each sub.

I have a feeling there must be some kind of Icelandic holiday? Been quiet since last week. Really wish they would stop saying "Successfully Launched" after every update and just say "Launched like a turd sandwich" ! P

Relinking from 119.3 thread.

EBR was closed again, asking for info and no time to respond.

I'm still having my overview pushed down from the upper right corner on every new login in a citadel and the fact the tickets keep getting closed is getting to be a bit much.

I've reset the window position of the character impacted in game, still happening.

Thankfully I've been able to get some info the dev team, but if I hadn't I'd have to leave another EBR with the bug hunters to close yet again.

I gave you video, still images as proof of the issue along with the relevant log info.

Well... Maybe on FanFest communication is Ok? You know: the only group of "players"(*) CCP cares enough?

Note: writing "players" this way i indicate that i personally have suspicion that most of those attendees are not even EvE players anymore. They were at some point but left the game long ago and only attend FanFest to meet friends. I could be wrong for sure.

I would say you have to be there to get the feels of it. Now when they are not around to sell you their version of reality, the live game bites back and you feel empty inside. Like a deflated love doll abandoned in a trash can.

If you dropped the PLEX into the Vault, then you can visit New Eden Store and buy those fancy clothes or SKINs or Omega time.

Items will get into your redeem system and the Omega clone activation will add 30 days of Omega clone on account. Omega time left on your account will be only visible in your account management site on web unfortunately. They removed the Omega timers from game as for now.

So, i gifted 1000 plex each to two alt accounts.

Their sub was about to expire along with the extra training queue.

There is no plex in these accounts vaults.

The only way i can seem to see the account status of these accounts is the account management page.

30 days has been added to each account (so the system assumed these gifted plex was for game time). But the other 500 plex per account seems unaccounted for since there was only 30 days added and extra skill queue is now expired.

Where did they go?

What the **** is going on?

Why did CCP do this?

How despirate for cash must CCP be to release this puke?

I think im gonna let my accounts rest for a while, no point throwing billions away into a black hole.

Why am I now forced to buy stuff through the Steam store if i'm launching the game from there to track time in game spent on my steam profile rather then be able to buy stuff directly from your store? It's another point of potential transaction delay.

The Account is only using the steam launcher, was not created via Steam.

I just noticed this and it's amazing. No worries any longer that opening the Wars tab of Marmite or VMG kills your client. Lol

I started playing EVE every day back in 2010. Back then there were about 50,000 people logged into EVE at any given time. I started playing primary because I love space games. I have been playing on and off for nearly 7 years now. With the exception of the Incursion fiasco and $1000 space pants, I always enjoyed playing EVE. Late last year, before I took a break from online gaming - EVE was my go to game.

Fast forward to the present. A couple days ago, I logged in for the first time in about 9 months and did not enjoy the experience. My first gripe is that Aura's voice was replaced with...whatever is there now. Aura's voice was soothing and gave the game a futuristic feel. This new person sounds extremely mechanical and as if she was reading from a script. At first this seemed minor but, after a short while it became grating. The simple act of warping is much less enjoyable then it was 9 months ago.

After a bit of research, I discovered that this unfortunate change was permanent. It would appear that the Devs are not keen on reverting this change. Perhaps for whatever reason the old voice actor is no longer available and for continuity purposes the Devs decided to do a complete overhaul. Or perhaps the Devs think this new voice is a good replacement. In either event one thing is clear - feedback on this change is being ignored.

This one seemingly minor change shouldn't have a major impact on the game - but it does. Why? This is just my opinion, but I believe that there are two primary reasons: (1) It negatively impacts player experience; (2) More importantly, it shows that the Devs are ignoring player feedback. When the Incursion fiasco occurred, players were passionate enough to stage protests (i.e. burn Jita). It is clear that that passion is not nearly as strong as it once was. Rather then protesting - people are simply leaving.

I understand that CCP has to modernize its product, however, it should not do so at the expense of game experience. Players like myself may come off as whiny or entitled when we "complain" about a course of action CCP takes but there is a reason for it. The reason is we care about the game and want it to succeed. The new voice is a small change which has a big impact - at least for me.

I have 3 accounts which I used to sub nearly every month for 6 years or so. CCP will not get anymore of my money if they continue to degrade the experience. On a positive note, I must say I like my alpha clones.
