just changed my portrait again. I feel like I should try to do more changes until I make one that is really awesome.

I just wish CCP would've actually put more options in the character editor for more background, lighting (including lighting direction control), and clothing.

Today i've made an attempt to re-create Ishtanhcuk at Elite: Danerous. Frist disappointemnt, there is no coppery skin (siiigh). Then, there are 50 female presets, of which I've picked 1 out fo 3 or 4 which could be interesting. Then, second disappointment, there are no long hair styles, only a bob and a ponytail. Siiigh. After tinkeirng with options i ended up with somethign that doens't hurts the eyes, but she's a few miles away from being pretty. Actually, I'm a bit concerned as, on first inspection, none of the 50 presets looked pretty...

More work will have to be done before I dare to display her publicly, and meanwhile that work will be done only when I'm sick of seeing my WoWs experience go to hell with godawful Tier X battles and teams... Ugh

Nice idea. I would use it for sure. I remember few times recreating them.

As for the Elite Dangerous avatar creator, I think there is a distinct graphical style to it, maybe because of game engine used. I actually thought avatar creator would be more sophisticated. But now when I see its more or less finished (rather more), I am a bit disappointed. No shape adjustment even. Everyone looks like a clone with different face. They dont have even CQ to go to either, no screen with news, where you can put your own videos. You cant even get up your butt from the chair. 🤦
Well, maybe in some time we wil see it. 🤷

By the way, I have seen a nice, old e-book with EVE concept arts, also avatars. Here it is. Enjoy. 😉

Well the face shape can be somewhat adjusted, but only within the limits of each preset. To be honest, EVE's avatars still are best, they might not include so many "realism" features but they're photo-like rather than cartoonish, and of course you can pose the portrait picture. Admittedly I'm still disappointed with the no-nos (seeing Ish without her mane isn't nice), and haven't explored the full potential of the Holo-Me, whatever that potential is.

I have found the easiest is the Arachyr(sp) WD set, or the Thorns of the Invoker Crusader set. If you have not tried them I recommend it. That WD set is stupid easy to get the mastery for, and thorns Isn't bad either, though it sometimes takes me a try or 2.

I remember creating my own sets of armor and weapons in Diablo 2 with an editor. That was fun. I could do everything. 👍

I stumbled upon this editor after playing game multiple times, also in expansion. I used it mainly to help my friend run dungeons with me. I summoned some item and she was happy she did not die all the time. ✌️😎

I am still waiting for Diablo 2 remastered.As it was said in this thread before,you can play Starcraft:Brood War for free.I played it and at the end of a game I won with 400 APM.........just kidding(50 APM at best and lost)! I never played Starcraft before,only watched a crazy-cousin of mine play for 18 hours non-stop over Battle.Net daily 19 years ago. But I like it. It is a fun game to play. Anyway....I'm still waiting for Diablo 2 remastered and free to play.

so I'm in this wormhole corp.
and a corpmate of mine puts a tempest for me on the static so I can roll it (he's polarized so he can't do it).
right when I land in my pod on the hole, a hostile magus shows up, and scrams me after I get in the pest.
I managed to neut his scram out, and initiated my MJD.
right then 2 sleipnirs show up and start pointing me. at this point I was pretty sure I'm dead...

a few seconds later and I hear my MJD go off, and I immediately warp off back to our fort, shouting AYY MEMES in local as I wave those dumbasses goodbye Lol
