Hi,

When I try to copy paste market analysis (inter-region) data to excel, it's all wierd. Used to work just fine in previous versions...

Can you define 'weird'?

I'm trying to replicate this issue and everything seems to work fine. What exact items are you importing? This screenshot starts at row 12.

First off, thanks for an outstanding program.

I am having issues with duplicate orders in the corporation orders tab. I shut down and restarted the program and re-imported the API of the corp and now all the orders are tripled.

Is there anyway to clear the cache and start over. I'm afraid to restart again as I might end up with four copies of each order.

I do have three characters in the corp, but each order for each character is triple posted.

Thanks

Hmm, that would suggest the API returns the same orders with different ids. Anyway, you can manually delete each duplicated order from the context menu.

I'm having trouble with Everus 64bit on Windows 10. Every time I go to the Market Analysis tab and click on Import Data, it shows me which regions to select from and types of items to import. I get a Active Tasks window that is the following

Importing data for analysis...
waiting for #### order replies....
waiting for #### history replies.....

where the #### is usually a large number around 46285 or something like that.

The problem is that it just hangs, the values get lower some of the time, then hangs again, until it is left with 2 order server replies and 0 history replies. Sometimes it shows red icons instead of the blue ones, or the window will close but there is no data when i set the filters.

For example, right now it's waiting for 2 order replies and 8032 history server replies and is just stays there a while then the history replies get a little lower, then hangs, etc.. still waiting for it to get done now....
and fail Ugh

You are importing very large amounts of data so that "hang" might actually be processing. If you get a red icon, you can try to resize horizontally the task window to see the error message. For some time now, ESI (and CREST) are throwing a lot of errors, so we need to wait until someone hopefully fixes it.

If the data gets imported but you still can't see it, make sure you have valid filter applied. It's possible that you are simply filtering out the results.

Hi,

I don't seem to be able to get the API import to work. I keep receiving the error

Error transferring https://api.eveonline.com/char/CharacterSheet.xml.aspx?keyID= [.....] server replied: Forbidden

Q on "market analysis":
Another thing I didn't solve was total avg of last 30 days did give me a figure that looked like a regional number, not a system. However, I did select a system and hit "apply". Basically, it seems the after "import data" it does not update from the region to the system.

Forbidden means you don't have appropriate permissions for given api key. Did you use the predefined key link?

As for the analysis - did you import first and filter later or the other way around?

Hmm,
Ok, so basically, whatever data I try to copy paste into Excel, the data will move, but all rows are pasted together, in one cell, instead of you know considering the columns or having any separator so basically, I'm unable to analyse any data since there is no seperator for columns. Each row is going into each cell fully, instead of seperating into the columns as well.

This used to work fine in earlier versions.

Alright, I wrote a lengthy answer and while I was drafting my questions it suddenly worked. I used the example link (mask) to create an API key and then pasted key id and v code into the tool. Let's see if the analysis works as well.

Btw, thanks a bunch for being so responsive! It looks like a great tool.

Can you copy and paste that data into a text file and shared it with me?

I found the problem!

Stupid excel, it's remembering my text-to-column settings from whenever I last used it, so it kept breaking it, just have to reset it back to "TAB" and that fixes the problem!

duh

I logged this as a bug on your dev site but I thought I would post this here to see if I could get an answer:

Great program! I've been trying to use this to start up some station trading. There's a lot I'm trying to learn so I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before. I've searched everywhere I can think of.

Basically, every time I do an API import of my market orders, all of the cancelled/fulfilled orders come back into view. I have to redo a market import from file after the fact to try and get rid of them.

I've tried deleting the database and cache completely. I've tried working from a fresh install. The screenshot I've attached is from a first time API import after I deleted the database. I did not have any market orders active on my character.

Please let me know if you need anything else. Great work once again!

Yes I saw thank you. Sorry for posting that on the web version!

It will go away with the filter but I like seeing the 'changed' status so I can see what's moving and what's not. I did some further testing. It looks like if I do an API import then do a file import for the market after, the old items come back up with the next API import. However, if I only do an API import every hour, the cancelled items get removed.

I'm not sure if this is by design or not.
