Suggestion: Allow for right click/bookmarking of escalations
Keywords: ui, bookmarks
Note: Currently you have to fly to the system, and warp to the gate to create the bookmark.

There is a market in place to sell your escalations, as well as transfer them to other toons. Forcing players to fly to 7-9 jumps in every direction and make bookmarks isn't exciting game play.

Suggestion: add the option to mute the scanner. LINK

Reason: the new sounds are annoying as hell and severely disrupt my enjoyment of the game. Exploration as a profession is almost unplayable, and PvP scanning is way more annoying than it needs to be. I understand that I might be in the minority here, but at least give me the option to turn off the scanner sounds just like other elements can be selectively muted without turning off the whole UI and losing situational awareness.

Edit: no, apparently I'm not in the minority, and everyone hates this. GET RID OF THIS GARBAGE.

Pls make it so that I can sell an escalation by rightclicking it and press "sell escaltion". Then a wizzard appears and I can set the reciever as "public", "corp", or "player name" with isk amount ranging from 0.00 isk to ~.00 isk. Then you can shift them between alts, make your corp happy, or just make isk on them, without bookmarks or flying anywhere!.

You can adjust map filters to see the different statistics for systems like players killed, podded recently or pilots number in the system. Another sec status would be pointless.

You know you can put in outliers and throw all that data off, right? I could literally go to Mara right now over and over in a pod and get a friend to pod me and then it'd seem like it was a somewhat high-traffic death trap, instead of the borderline lowsec mining hub it is. Seriously, so many people move on from the Jouvulen-Isanamo-Airkio area to there to mine. They may never move there permanently to stay, but that's where many people go and mine if they're feeling a tad ballsy.


I more want to see what portion of aggressors in that area are repaid likewise by either their prey or guardians of the area.

Suggestion: Load space BEFORE showing my ship after undock

Issue: For many users it takes a LONG time to load space, often times they are engaged without having even a chance to respond because their environment has not loaded yet.

Suggestion: Introduce Paid Public Notes on Character, Corporation, Alliance, and/or Structures

Issue: Addresses a niche for player communication and offers alternative to spam adverts in trade hub local chats.

Description: It's a cycling social media message board that displays the 10 most recent paid public notes. It can be used in any number of ways. Entities set the payment amount for someone to leave a public note and this ISK is payed directly to the individual, corporation, or executor corp depending on where the public note is displayed. This is not a CSPA charge. ISK is paid to advertise a message (e.g. pay 50m ISK to Caldari Navy to leave a sales note on Jita 4-4 Station Services side bar).

When a note is left private (default state), the note does not update to the public queue and no ISK is payed out.

This might be kinda small, but it would help a lot.

When I have my Orca's Ore hanger open, and it's only covering 1/8th of my screen, and I click on a stack of ore, the window that shows the size of that object shifts left, which means I can see the size of the hold (which I already know), and may show the total amount of ore in my hold, but the size of the object is shifted beyond the window, which is the number I wanted to see.

So, it looks like this


[84) 149,204/180,000 m3]

The 84 is the end of "36,084", but I can't see that because the window is too narrow.

How about instead of shifting this window right, which moves the most variable number out of the window, shift the text left pushing out the total size of the hold, which is the most fixed number? I sometimes have a similar issue with station containers.

(Yes, I know I can make the window bigger, but I only have so many square inches to work with.)

UI:

Default settings for any new chat channel window that is opened.

Reason:
When configuring clients some users prefer to increase/decrease their font sizes/portrait display and each new chat spawned requires this to be reset manually.

Camera feature/Game enhancement:

Perhaps some form of replay mode, copying battle information similar to World of Warships replay function to allow content creators access to reply footage for inclusion into their work

Be able to color code watchlist.

I was thinking it might be a cool idea if we can color code watch list like we can already color code broadcasts. I have made a terrible example of what it might look like.

Reduce the character amount for mobile depot names

Drop the character limit so mobile depots can realistically only maintain a "capsuleer base" name and not act as a billboard projecting a novel.

People can still use cans to write their odysseys, or if ccp introduces an anchorable structure to act as a billboard

Can you make it so when you show info on advanced space ship components you can get that used for tab.
Like you get for some skills or items.
So when you show info item fusion X you get a extra tab showing in what bpcs or bpos the component is used.
Takes loads of checking item X, Y, Z etc to try to find out where they are used and such if you havent done any t2 construction before.

Can we get some player buildable versions of monuments/billboards whatever? Not indestructible like CCP's and maybe a different model, but still, something that we can build and put in space. Sure, we have cans, but the cans and mobile depots all over basically are just proof of concept that we have a huge use for something like this, whether it's to try and recruit, or to smugface about that time we ganked Mikalu's nidhoggur and want to put something in space to goad his goat every time he refuels his tower until he decides to destroy it. CCPles?

Suggestion: target painter guided FoF Missles with friendly target painter

Keywords: missles, gameplay

Note: suggestion is to make eve version of real life laser missle/ bomb guidance system. for example: my buddy paints a target with target painter, i activate missle launchers charged with FoF missles, missles are following painted target. no aggro, no timers, no locking needed. when target dies launchers stop shooting. those may be one of two tech 2 variations of existing FoF missles.


Suggestion: replacing "explosion radius" and "explosion velocity" stats with one "guidance" stat for missles, rebalancing explosion velocity speed for missles with different charges.

Keywords: missles, gameplay

Note: few reasons for this.
- missle users should train 2 accuracy skills (explosion radius, explosion velocity) instead of 1 skill (tracking) for turret users.
- in real life explosion radius in space is infinite, explosion velocity - various for different charges. (EM wave can't move slower than speed of light, right? ). thats why missle mechanics is harder to understand when compared to turrets.
suggested stat "guidance" will affect how close missles can get to the target before they explode. after that constant (for each type of charge) explosion velocity will affect how much damage target will get.

so what will happen to gameplay after this rebalabcing?
- it will be possible to avoid missle damage by changing ship's flight direction (manually or by setting an orbit) instead of just having small signature (like it works for turrets).
- speed tanking will still work: ship's speed will affect if missles can get close enough to explode (if they can't - they will self destruct). "guidamce" will affect how far from target explosion will be (and how much damage target will get). also this means that target that does not move (or webbed good enough), it will get allmost full damage.
- targets signature will affect how close missles can get before impact. bigger signature is = more accurate missles are.


Suggestion: damage dispersion for smartbombs. making smartbomb damage dependent from distance to the target.

Note: idea is that all smartbombs will get much bigger area of effect, and sort of faloff. when distanse increases, damage will decrease. for example, Large EMP Smartbomb I deals 250 EM damage at 5 km. after rebalancing it will deal same 250 damage at 5km, 500 damage at 2.5km, 1000 damage at 1.25km, 125 damage at 10km, 62.5 damage at 20km and so on.

Hey all,

Thanks for all the great suggestions!

We have decided to start a new Little things thread, head over here to post in it.

While I have not replied too much here, I do read this thread every now and then, but there are just too many suggestions to replied to. Even though this thread is now locked, I'll go over and evaluate the suggestions that have come in recently and see if we can do something about them P

I want to urge you to stick to the formatting like in that first post, which makes it a lot easier on us all :)
