Either way the cross fire does expose flaws in the idea.

why is this thread still going? the last thing anyone should be complalining about is graphics in this game. i really want to see them work on other things. the game is the most beautiful on out there, so stop complaining if they make an aesthetic decision...

seriously, i see great threads drop into oblivion, and its because people like you to push it down by crying about, some little graphic??? the new turrets look great (or in your case, should be good enough), lets not waste ccp's time here please...

why is that a waste of CCP's time? He worked months on shipspinning, to get it back

I have to agree with M'nu there if they update all the ships to V3 the old turrets would look SO out of place.

EQ did it with legacy models, why can't Eve? They'd have to use the new hardpoints, but it should be a fairly simple addition.

The Bantam, one of the oldest ships in eve used to have armor mounting points on it. It was removed for lag reasons.
Also eve artist are SWAMPED, they got four years of work ahead of them and only a year to do it all in.

Look at 0.28: the heron or the buzzard are dedicated missile launcher, but they are shown with turrets, 1.02 ... a f**** raven with Ion Blaster II WTF CCP ?

As an old timer (Played since 2003), I prefer the new turrets and its graphics. Absolutely no need to bring back legacy stuff.
