Another feature I would love to see is to be able to import a list of item names or type ids from excel (or text), and then be able to use the fast price copy functionality to just be able to scan through the imported list. This way you can have a quick look through a list of items that isn't tied to your orders.

Also is there a bug with setting custom station? I have tried to set the station to Jita 4-4 on my citadel orders but it does nothing... it would also be great to just be able to set a blanket always use custom station for all orders.

Otherwise, keep up the good work!

Version 1.47 is here with some good stuff:

  • [new] exposed custom costs to scripts (see the help page)
  • [new] ability to set price type in Market Analysis (buy/sell)
  • [new] color tags for orders (in context menu)
  • [new] fetching known citadels for order locations
  • [fixed] crash with empty asset lists
  • [changed] computing asset value now uses custom location if set
  • [changed] opening in Eve now uses correct character
  • [changed] 20170112 database

Can you explain how the citadel feature works? I imported citadels and then it still does not recognize the citadels I am buying out of. Anything I might be doing wrong?

If you have orders imported with the correct citadel ID (that's totally dependent on eve api) and the given citadel has also been imported (that depends on 3rd party service), it should show as the location.

Great tool, I really love it. Thanks for all the work.

I get an error though when trying to import data for the market analysis. The importer window just prints "unable to write" after the requests are done. Funnily enough it works on the mac version. Does anyone have any pointers?

Also having this issue since I updated to the latest version. I've tried lowering my CREST requests per second down to 20 and still have issues. Have tried re-importing characters and reinstalling the application. No luck.

It looks like a server issue after the last update.

For anyone having "Unable to write" error - can you try out this experimental version: https://bitbucket.org/krojew/evernus/downloads/evernus.exe It has CREST switched to ESI - I hope it will help.

It's working under the experimental build, but it's rather slow.

Edit: Spoke too soon.

I wonder if that's just a momentary glitch, or is ESI broken too.

Hi, and thanks for this tool. Don’t know what I’d do without it. The margin tool is my principal defence against my own fat fingers. :)

However, I have one question regarding the Margin Tool, and it concerns off-shored traders like me. Consider the scenario: I’m sitting in a citadel in Perimeter, buying things with one jump range. That puts most of my purchases in Jita 4-4.

When I export an item I’m trading in, the Margin Tool only updates with prices in the current system. So, if I’m trading in The Device, when I update sell or buy orders of The Device in Jita from Perimeter, I have to enter the price manually. Which makes my fat fingers a risk again and defeats the purpose of using the Margin Tool.

If there’s a way to change this behaviour, I haven’t found it. Perhaps that’s because I’m blind, or dumb, which are possibilities. Is there such a way? If there isn’t, can this behaviour be changed so that off-shored traders can use the Margin Tool as effortlessly as those sitting in Jita 4-4?

Thanks.

Happening for me. It's weird because I got it to work with CREST last night 1 time.. and then went back to the "unable to write" again

I'm getting a DLL error when trying to run that exe..."Qt5Multimedia.dll" is missing. Not sure if something is broken on my side or maybe a bug with this being an experimental release? The normal installer works just fine.

However:

Is it expected behavior that citadels are essentially ignored in buy orders? The price import tool does not import buy orders for citadels, therefore when it calculates a new "best price" it's often incorrect because of existing citadel orders that are higher.

Did you delete anything before substituting the exe file? As for the citadels - yes, CCP is yet to give us citadel data while importing.

I uninstalled the existing Evernus install via the uninstall utility (Win10) before trying to install the experimental build. Just for kicks I tried the experimental while the stable release was installed as well and still got the same error. I did not specifically remove anything else prior to installation.

It's frustrating that CCP seems to have delivered a half-baked API, even more so when it's been presumably broken for the last two weeks.

That's the problem. You shouldn't have uninstalled the current version, but only substitute the exe. This should work assuming you're using the 64 bit version.
