What is your position on The ever infinitely expanding Amount of Citadels and EC’s in Empire Low and Null sec systems?

What is your position on Local Building and Empire Trade hubs been so easy to access and buy stuff from vs how difficult it is to be able to support a small to medium alliance with everything they need in their home region without the need for places like Jita/Amarr
i.e. do we need to force people to build everything they need in their local area (would need a few tweeks from CCP’s end to make it work) and nerf how easy it is for a small alliance to seed a whole fleets worth of ships in a matter of hours just using Jita and JF’s

What is your position on having more Group PVE and less reliance solo people just been able to run anomalies solo 24h a day.

What is your position on Citadel’s Defensive capability’s and how you are forced to bring N+1 type sub cap fleets to deal with them? And do you think there should be a bigger risk of assets if the defenders are unable to defend.

What is your position on Huge Super Cap Blobs and the main Counters Been N+1 No fights or one shot Dread bombs which don’t really counter long-term proliferation of supercaps.

1) Personally I get kinda sad when i see a insane amount of the cheaper citadels in systems, Yes they should be accesable but I would have made them more expensive personally.

2) If it would properly work then i think it could be interesting and i would not be against it (IF IT WORKS PROPERLY)

3) Im not a big fan of the safety window, it stops gameplay and thats why I dislike it. In terms of their defence. I like that the biggest one is also very hard to kill however the other medium and large one might be a bit to strong.

4) Super Cap blops are in a strange place in my hearth. I kinda love them when you have a big battle however I also loved the old supprise dreadbomb counter. I think it would be fun if there were more options in the super capital world.

Overall I would say that just like I did within this term, im not affraid to poke people who i see as experts on these topics. Their feedback is great to use when communicating with CCP. Its the best way to opperate as a CSM member if you ask me.

Hi Bobmon,

I have one question given how different the circumstances are between you running now, and you running this time last year.

So, last year, Lenny helped you out and subbed a ton of accounts using IWI money for the purpose of voting for you in first place to make sure you got on the council. Pretty clever, actually, and seems more or less within the election rules, so well played.

Out of curiosity, though, do you mind disclosing exactly how many of these accounts were subbed and used to vote for you, or alternatively what the total cost of that vote padding (either in PLEX or ISK) was?

I just have a few question I wonder if you wouldn't mind answering.

1. Without breaking the NDA, what were the issues you concentrated on the most during your time on CSM 11?

2. You state that one year is not enough time for a CSM member to work at maximum efficiency. Why?

3. What do you see as the biggest issues CSM XII will have to deal with? This includes issues with the way the CSM is run as well as any in-game issues.

4. At the first summit, you brought up the issue of focus groups, but the minutes didn’t record your position. What is your position on the use of focus groups?

5. You were quite vocal in your displeasure in the changes to the EULA that banned gambling organizations in EVE. According to the attendance spreadsheet Jin’taan maintains, your live participation in meetings dropped from 74% before the changes down to 25%. Was your participation affected because CCP did something you disagreed with?

Thank you.

1. Alpha clones, rebuilding of the CSM, CSM > Player communication and some stuff that is still under NDA. A lot of the Livestream stuff was something I brought up.
2. Yes because over time you learn how to communicate more effectivly with CCP. You know who to chat with etc.
3. At the begininning it was deffaintly trust with CCP. CSM 10 was not great due to the drama so we had to rebuild trust and I think we did that perfectly. Another big issue is sadly still under NDA.
4. Focus groups work great when handled by the CSM to help gather information about specific topics
5. No was due to exams and some RL stuff. I still rewatched all the meetings and gave feedback on the topics that were discussed. Also I agree that gambling should be banned, its just that at that time a lot of good things also came from gambling (event support, fansite support, ingame even supports) and at the time I just saw that all go away. Thats why I was displeased.

Bobmon got along well with everyone on the CSM. The key thing about CSM11 was the rebooting of the relationship not only within the CSM itself but also with CCP. When you are picking a candidate keep this in mind as anyone you vote for should be someone that can get along with a group of their peers.

Bobmon can do that for you.

Bob has my vote for CSM 12.

He's always open and receptive to ideas that are put forward then provides clear feedback to what he presented to CCP and how it was received.

The reason this trash should never be anywhere near CFCSM of CCPL.

Do not vote for this piece of *snip* people. Boycott CFCSM election entirely until even CCPL realizes something is wrong.

Hello,

My question - what is your viewpoint regarding Faction standings and as a CSM member, what changes would you propose to CCP pertaining to game mechanics for Faction standings ?

Good luck to you in the upcoming CSM election.

How do you plan to help include deaf/blind players into the game further? What tools do you think can be used to do this outside lobbying corps/alliances/blocs to review their comms strategies (no comms/mumble, no entry) which is the biggest obstacle to deaf/blind players, for instance?

I think they could get some love and maybe be more meaning full other then getting missions etc. Other then that I would be really interested in what the community thinks that needs to be done and bring that to the CSM discussions.

Well with blind people I think its going to be hard. Spoke with a few people who have bad sight and they really wanted to have more options to increase certain fonts / colours to make it easier for them to read.

... that's not a plan.

If it's not a priority, just come out and say it. It's such a small market segment to try to appeal to, so I wouldn't expect much effort in that area, except that the entire client in general should be more usable than it is, regardless a person's condition. Is that a priority at all? To have a better client in general?

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah I agree. Faction standings should be more meaningful than just to get missions. They use to be needed to anchor a POS in high sec space until CCP removed that aspect. I think that was a big mistake.

Currently in-game, Faction standings are the only way to access Cosmos Agents (one time access). Faction standings and Corporation standings are needed to access Research Agents. All other Agents only require a minimal amount of Faction standing for access (-2.00 or higher standing). Also high Faction standings reduce Market Broker fees and Reprocessing fees in NPC stations. At -5.00 or lower Faction standing, Empire NPC's will attack when in their space. Those are the in-game aspects of Faction standings.

This game was founded on the premise of having a balance on 'Risk vs Reward' and 'Actions vs Consequences'. It takes time for players to ruin Faction standings and as such it should also take some time to repair those standings. In the past Characters use to be accountable for their actions in-game, now most everything has been dumbed down and turned into easy mode for the instant gratification crowd. That's something I don't want to see happen to Faction standings.

Now I know it's tough on new players who haven't learned the game yet, they can easily mess up their Faction standings right from the start without actually knowing it. I was one of those players victimized by negative Faction standings until I decided to do something about it. After 3 months of research in 2010, I created and shared the 'Faction Standing Repair Plan' with the Eve Online community. In my opinion players need more options available to repair negative Faction standings then what I've listed in 'The Plan', especially since most of those Event Agents can only be accessed once in the characters life.

I think the process of Faction standing repair should be implemented in-game to be more intuitive instead of being so obscure. All changes to Faction standings should be brought to the players attention with an on screen pop up message. Any action that would cause negative Faction standing should trigger an on screen pop up warning (with option to deactivate). All Anti-Empire missions should have a warning to alert players that accepting and completing those missions will incur negative Faction standings. An idea presented by others is to have Tags for Standings. Personally I don't really like the idea but if it's similar to Tags for Security, I guess it would be acceptable. Lastly CCP could add another group of NPC Agents to the in-game Agent Finder strictly for Faction standing repair, sorta like the proposal I have listed in my forum signature.

Anyway, thanks again for the reply and good luck in the upcoming election.
