Initial NPC missile salvos visually originate from the targeted player ship's hardpoints rather than from the NPC like normal. Purely visual bug, no impact on NPC or player weapons, missiles even still corkscrew around me and then fly back to me in a timeframe that seems to respect the range between me and the NPC. Seems to happen pretty consistently so it shouldn't be hard to reproduce, just run a Guristas mission or any sig/anom in Caldari space.

Observed this behavior from several racial families of mission and complex NPCs that fire missiles, so it's not just Guristas. After the first shot from an NPC's missile weapon, subsequent salvos behave as normal.

Also, and this may be pointing out the obvious, but the preview windows for previewing item/ship, fitting window, and Ghost fitting window are all still bugged from since Citadel.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Can we PLEASE get the word "cunnecting" at login replaced with at least a facsimile of decent, acceptable English - The correct pronunciation is CONnecting.

The spelling,"connecting", there is no YOU in the word "connecting".
5 little letters, A E I O U, the fundamentals of the English language

The 1st audio cue any player, new or old hears, is the worst grammar I've heard aside from my time living in the outback with people who simply grunted profanities between swigs of their goonie.

Sadly most of those profanities were not as bad to listen to as the terrible pronunciation of that single word.

My opinions are mine.

  If you don't like them or disagree with me that's OK.- - - - - - Just don't bother Hating - I don't care

It really is getting harder and harder to justify $23 a month for each sub.

Hi,

don't know if its already known, but

It is not possible for normal Corporation members to drop items to a Corporation Hangar on a Citadel or Engineering Complex, with no explicit rights to this hangar.

The red circle tooltip says

"Drop access only"

but if you try to drop an item you recieve a

"Access denied. You have been denied access for the following reason: You do not have the required roles."

CCP, please fix this! ;-)

Thanks and kind regards!

Would be nice if those defender missiles worked against the guided void bombs so that there is actually some counter to the constant stream of cap drain which limits subcaps to capless weapons

I do agree with you that it sounds odd. To my trained ears though, that 'o' sounds more like the 'e' in 'ratter' with, as you say, a slight glide towards an 'uh' sound.

The aim seems to have been to achieve a more conversational effect, by having the voice artist speak in a 'normal, everyday' way rather than use the public announcement simulation we've grown used to. In British English, 'cernecting' wouldn't go amiss at all, and I doubt it would do so in the US. Elsewhere, I don't know.

Try it yourself. Say 'cOnnecting', then 'cERnecting'. Which sounds most natural to you?

I agree that the actress does overdo it though. This is likely because of over-practising/rehearsing, or just too many takes. It tends to make you emphasise unconsciously the bits you're trying to get right!

Some feedback:

1) In fitting window when hovering mouse on module in inventory ship's CPU/PG indicators remain unchanged, but in past they were reflecting fitting requirements, so I could check 'at a glance' if my module will fit without actual dragging/dropping.

2) Some important UI sounds are missing! Most important for me - 'scan' button tweet on d-scan (yes, it sounds like bird's tweet).

3) Jita market is delayed/bugged - in past time there was no such problem even with 2k local, but now with 1-1,5 it is bugged as hell. Probably some tech issues. I accidently bought some stuff twice - no big deal, but not cool.

4) Target locking bug - appeared just recently. When locking target it sometimes drop off. Or targeting continues too long.

5) Also, bug with grouped guns is still here! Why - it was reported long time ago? Thing is when I activate grouped guns by clicking/pressing shortcut the actual outgoing damage is low as like I fire with just one gun. I often fly thrashers (7 turret slots) and I can definetely say - its not 'graze' or bad tracking or high resists or smth.

6) Thanks for bringing shortcut for minimize/maximize all button, but it would be good if you release TAB key for it as well - because it needs to be near left hand but every keys there are already binded (!).

7) Bug with renamed ships is still here! C'mon guys - it is over 3 years old! Behavior - when renaming the ship it can occasionally revert back to old name. I suppose it may be connected somehow with 'indexing delay', so when you change star system right after renaming your ship - it can revert back [need to verify, of course].

8) Good job on removing OGB boosters - it made my lowsec scrubs' life a little bit easier :)

9) Sadly, but I had to set new Aura's voice to zero - I prefer previous variant much more. Would be win-win if we had a choice between VOs.

"Connecting" is the natural (and correct) pronunciation. Which may well be down to the time period I attended school (over 50 years ago), I do know many English teachers these days have no respect for correct pronunciation or grammar, you just have to listen to younger generations speaking to see how obvious this is.

Cernecting may be considered acceptable in the US but when speaking British English it is definitely cOnnecting - Unless of course you are a bogan or a member of some other group that by it nature bastardizes the English language.

And yes, repeating the same phrase over and over "to get it right", is by far the best way to get it so terribly wrong.

The best way to lose the attention of a crowd is bad grammar and pronunciation - EG; Listening to some of the presentations at fanfest is painful and sadly I have noticed over the years it is those who speak English as a first language that are worst offenders.

I understand what CCP is trying to achieve with the new Aura - I just don't understand how they got it so wrong.
Not only is the voice too high pitched it is not a "natural" speaking voice. Listen to a recording of an air traffic controller (the closest RL thing you could compare to Aura) some time, THAT is the sort of voice CCP should have been going for, not the squeaky over emphasized noise they settled on.

My opinions are mine.

Why does it now take 20 minutes for Signatures and Anomalies to generate after downtime login? Kinda hard to play without content...
