Ice Mining Drones Need Reduced Bandwidth

The Orca should be able to field 2 of these at least. I mean, ****, the Rorq can run 5 excavators, why can't the Orca run 2 smaller types? As it is, one T2 Ice mining drone lets my Orca harvest about as much as a barge might. Running an exhumer is better if one is into ice, as I am.

If you want to use 2, get a Rorqual.

I guess what I'm trying to point out, is that the Orca can use 5 mining drones to mine ore amounts comparable to an exhumer, but with only the 1 ice harvester drone it rates at barge level efficiency.

Wasn't it CCP that said an Orca would be able to mine like an exhumer and a Rorq like 5 exhumers?

tbh they mine a bit to much ore atm an orca should only be ~as good as an unboosted barge

It was never said that the booster ships get besser that the booster. Only the sieged Rorqual can do this but for this he has to stick 5 min to the same spot.

The Orca isn't intended to be a solo miner. You can use it that way but your benefit compared to an Exhumer will be the massive capacity and tank - not the yield.
