As of today i cannot click on any of my Characters. My Ex-Omega Clone has it's profile picture shown, but the alpha one i created is not loaded. additionally the normally shown info beneath the chars is not loaded either. finally when i click on add new character nothing happens.

I already run the resource tool, but my files seem to be ok.

I've had this problem twice. Both times happened after the launcher complained something about the shared cache and permissions then ran some program that did god knows what. The first time I fixed it by reinstalling the game. Lost overview and client settings, but no matter those had to be redone anyway. The second time was less than a week after the first, so I looked around but none of the fixes I found worked. However, since it was complaining about permissions, I figured I could just move the shared cache to one of my user folders (from the Eve folder installed directly onto my C: drive, which seems like a very strange place to default anyway) and it worked fine after that.

You can do that from the shared cache options in the launcher.

Also, CCPls, look into this.

Same problem here. Ran the launcher with logging and it showed problems with shared cache. Ran a verify of the shared cache from the launcher (settings->general->shared cache settings->verify). Found 3 corrupt and 294 extra files. Able to load characters fine after the verify operation.

I am stuck on "Checking GUI version...." Just happened while i was in game. Never seen this before. Both PC's same status and message. After a while it shows message "Could not verify your GUI Version..."

Personally, I'd post launcher issues in the launcher thread.

issue -

Industry UI lags and fails to open up items,
submitting jobs seems to hang, i have to click "start" twice for the job to run

citadel access list -

noticing strange anomaly where individuals have access to gunner's seat without having to be in correct defensive permissions group.

Fixed, and SP has been reimbursed in the form of unallocated SP for me. I've done a rough estimate and it seems as though the reimbursement was for the correct amount.

So I logged in for the first time in a long time because of RL issues, and when I do, I noticed that I'm in alpha state, but I am still in my retriever. However, the minute I tried to undock, I get a pop-up saying that I cannot launch due to me not being upgraded to Omega. I have the skills, Astrogeology and Mining Barge Levels 3 and 1 respectively to run a retriever, but I find out I cannot fly in it due to the Ascension update? Please help me fix this, as I am reduced to a Venture for the time being.

Silly question but is your subscription current or are you playing as an Alpha (free 2 play).
If your playing as an Alpha, you can't use your retriever as you need a paid sub to use that ship.

I was out for several months. I purchased 2 plex and when I logged on I dragged one of the plex to my main character and was going to use the other for my second character. When I started my main character I found that it was still an alpha and that i couldn't undock. So I exited the game, restarted and dragged a plex from the redeem option to my main character again. When I started my main character I was still an alpha. Now I have no plex for either character and still in alpha. What a waste of money.

I did a support ticket and still no word.

The Industry Window is bugged. Some examples I've run into today.

1. Taking forever and then some to load all info in Industry window.

2. Having to click two or more times to start a job.

3. Close then re-open Industry Window to un-stick it so the update in inventory locations will register.

This is a serious problem considering Jeven's existence is eat space rocks, build shiny things from the space rock bits, research any BPO in the stash then invent from that to make better shiny things out of space rock and PI bits.

Hey Sara, We executed a script for Skill Queue issues were some Skill Queues were processed incorrectly. If you are still having issues with this, as we expected some few would. Please contact Customer Support and they will help you with this.

If your SP issue was related to Boosters, we are still working on the script as we speak. Sorry for the inconvenience.
