Thanks for the suggestion, I did notice even a complete removal and re-install of the launcher + rest of eve did not clear sunch info as user-name.

Dispite going at it with ccleaner a few times before and after a clean install, it is still the same.

Moving my issue over to the Launcher forum as suggested by someone else.

Have you tried the "fix" suggested in post #367 ... it fixed my missing character portrait.

Hello,
I have a problem with eve sound. Aura doesn't seem to work. But its only Aura, the rest of the sounds are fine (I tested them).
By Aura, I mean "warp drive active", "docking permission requested/accepted" and other sounds.
I restarted the game but it doesn't solve it. I also looked at the sound settings and it is on.
Is there a special setting that turns those sounds on?

CCP Contra has confirmed this is a known issue and they're working on a fix and once they've got the script figured out, those affected will get the lost/over-allocated skillpoints back as unallocated skillpoints.

Ok, the new skill tree needs a little love. Please have some kind of sensical order to the skill groups. I can't never find the group I'm looking for. Put them in alphabetical order or something please.

I have a big problem.

CCP mailing system doesn't send verification codes at my google address. I informed about this Customer Support.

GM Katsanis changed the email address in my accounts to the address that DOESN'T BELONG TO ME
I informed Customer Support about this and replied GM Spartan. He asked about the another email address, and DIDN'T REMOVE NOT MY ADDRESS FROM MY ACCOUNTS. I have sent the new address to the Customer Service and nothing happened.

MY ACCOUNTS STILL HAVE NOT MY EMAIL ADDRESS

you guys told us that the problem that paying customers can't get into their accounts isn't on your table, well then i hope you can answer these questions

1. could you at least give us a heads up on expected Ticket time... heading up on 28 hours... on one of my 3 accounts made that same day... other 2 worked fine....

2. could you mention what kinda compensation we should be expecting.
issue for multi-boxers is more than a issue of 1 toon that can't get in when you need them all to work together.

3. the entire problem of many people who can't get in have been totally ignored on the launcher who announce successful launch... i think we can count quite a few people in this forum post who don't think its been a success.... it looks like you are making a fancy cover-up for all your new alpha players.

4. maybe starting verification same patch as alpha clones isn't the smartest idea in the world.

All I can say is ccp. You dun ****** it up. Eve was fine. Now I can't access any of my accounts. I got a support ticket after 2 days and finally got my email changed to my correct one so I can do the damn verification thing. Now when I log in it just says error occurred. Sent in 3 support tickets. None of your staff cares. Really ducking annoying. I lost 3 charecters with 20M skill points because of this dumb ass new system. Should of just left it. I've invested thousands into the game I just lost. One of my accounts TheRealPerry Find. The account. Fix this ****. Excuse my language. I just lost a few thousand dollars because of your incompetence

I was able to get several accounts verified on the first day of Ascension after using the "forget all accounts" trick / ritual in the launcher, but two more remain blocked. The latter do not receive verification messages regardless of what I try despite using the same email address as the others that are working. That's 72 hours and counting now on those two accounts.

I submitted the support ticket 40 hours ago and have only received the initial automated email plus the standard reply related to checking spam filters, etc. I've responded point-by-point to the last one and am waiting still for an update. I know that there are plenty of others here sharing in this misery, but I doubt it makes any of us feel better about it.

With the "support status update" on 11/17 and the new "security features" dev blog that came out very early on 11/19 (or late on 11/18), it's clear that CCP is taking this matter seriously though not resolving it in a timely manner. There was an admission of a mistake being made in not notifying players much earlier of the upcoming security changes, and that's a pretty rare admission of guilt by CCP. It doesn't make me happy, but at least it's an acknowledgment of responsibility relative to the history of this organization.

Both of my blocked accounts are up for resubscription soon, and the clock is ticking away quite rapidly on one of them. With login being blocked I can't do anything about even if I had already decided to renew. Makes one wonder how many other accounts may soon be in that situation.

CCP has screwed up so bad this time that finally they've managed to include themselves in the direct damage zone. Part of me is laughing at that, but all the other parts are still really pissed.

It would not surprise me after this fiasco if CCP in a month or so does a significant PLEX sale to try to make up the revenue they are soon going to be losing if this drags on too much longer.

if yes add eveonline@service.ccpgames.com as a contact to allow the mails come into your inbox without getting blocked by yahoo or gmail

Thanks for pointing out that possibility. I looked into that and if blocked messages are the cause, the reason for it is not a lack of white-listing in my situation. However, I know that's helped some other players.

3 ACCOUNTS I CAN'T LOGIN TO MANAGE. 3 ACCOUNTS I CAN'T LOGIN TO PLAY. 3 ACCOUNTS WITH BILLIONS OF ISK ON THEM THAT I PAID FOR IN PLEX THAT I CANNOT TOUCH. 3 ACCOUNTS THAT I CANNOT GET ACCESS TO TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTIONS.

Just put a Standup Research Lab I module and a Standup M-Set Blueprint Copy Accelerator rig into my Astrahus. The module is online, deducted the fuel for the online process and yet in station services Industry shows as DISABLED so cannot use. Checked my lists and profile and have done everything possible but they can't be 'enabled'. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Can you check this out please CCP or tell me I am missing something?

As someone already pointed out, GM Lisad is responding and giving basically a canned answer...my ticket is 2 days older since being contacted.

The clock is ticking on 1 account already for closure.
Soon enough for 1 or 2 more and the rest of them should be coming in december.

My issue is with 1 account that needs to be fixed asap, GM Lisad needs to quit working on more than 10 tickets at once, and resolve those 10 b4 picking up more.

Im already researching for a different game to play, I have tol my family to quit playing and we waiting to pull plug completely.

Either you want my money or you dont CCP, been with you for years now, but that wont keep me from voting with my wallet if my issue keeps being ignored.

I ve been in the same boat, my second account is 8 years old and had a different address which I no longer have.

Having been a major IT incident manager in real life, I've dealt with total bugger ups like this before. (far bigger ones)

They usually come from bad planning in the dev/ change phase and the developers dump it on operations post implementation while patting themselves on the back for a great job done....

Operations in this case the support desk are running around with their pants on fire trying to fix an issue that wasn't there 5 days ago, the simple fix for it all is to roll back the changes to email verification and allow people to access their own accounts and email addresses.

At this stage CCP is probably on a very slippery slope being they are charging people subscriptions via credit cards but have basically blocked them from being able to change or cancel said subscription.
