Mysterious launcher popup

Greetings,

just fired up my launcher and it spawned a popup window with apparently a picture and a cancel button. The only problem is that in my case the picture was replaced with a loading timeout message, so I could only click cancel. It wasn't a news item (those things anchored to the little speech bubble). So, did anyone see it and could tell me what it said maybe, or better yet link a screenshot? Thanks in advance.

I often see this, in my case it usually indicates my connection has turned to crap again. I think it happens when the launcher doesn't get a reply back from the server in a timely manner so kinda goes "urk .. wat do now".

Yeah happens sometimes. Just now I was logging in to my account page and it was super slow so might be connection issues. It is sunday afternoon/evening after all usually one of the heaviest internet traffic days.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

Yeah, my connection was indeed a bit slow yesterday, so that's probably it. The rest of the launcher loaded just fine and the game itself as well, only that one image didn't load. I'm just irritated that I clicked cancel on something I couldn't read.
