Hate to say it, but CREST is extremely annoying when interacting with eve.

On the sad day of 11.10.2016, our beloved IGB has been laid to rest ;( All interactions with EVE client now have to use CREST. The newest version specifically addresses that issue + some more:

  • [new] support for high DPI scaling
  • [new] Market Analysis view columns can now be manipulated
  • [new] “Show in EVE” in asset view
  • [fixed] build on some compilers/systems
  • [changed] opening market details/setting navigation now uses CREST
  • [changed] removed IGB support

OSX version will be late, as usual.

hi Pete,
I am moving off of Eve Mentat and looking forward to using Evernus! I am attempting to import all my old data from Eve Mentat, a little over 3 years of transactions. Do past Character Journal and Transactions get imported into Evernus?

I am not seeing them after the import, so wanted to get clarification on this so I can determine if I am doing something wrong.

thanks,
Laureyna

There is an option to import stuff from Mentat, but I don't remember if it can import everything there ever was (I believe so). Also, you should look at options for automatic clearing od old data. You might have imported everything but they just got erased.

Thanks, got the clearing of old data off, but did that after the import. I will give it a try some more. Maybe I need to clear the database and start again?

Thanks for the tool, this looks promising.

I'm looking for something that lets me keep track of two characters (I use one character to buy stuff in 1 region and another character to sell in another region). I wanna know actual profits instead of my own book records, so I need the tool to check for how much I bought an item on character 1 and how much it sold on character 2. Does Evernus support this?

Cheers!

Coming back to EVE and Evernus after a break.

So long IGB, I already miss that easy to navigate list of orders.

What I do not see, and maybe I'm just missing it, is where do I open the list of orders similar to that which I had with the IGB? One that allows me to view the market details for the order that I'm interested in.

I tried using the list in "Character Orders" of Evernus and the "Show in EVE" option like I sometimes used to do, but CREST asked for an EVE login that specifically authorizes both setting of the autopilot and allows remote control of the my UI.

scope=

characterNavigationWrite

remoteClientUI

Obviously, I'm not going to authorize THAT, so how do I navigate from one order to the next without switching back and forth to the "My Orders" tab of the Regional Market?

Thankfully, the Margin Tool works as it used to, so I can mostly manage. I just miss that nice concise list of orders.

You have to authorize that for the functionality to work.

I'm liking the new "show in eve" options. Is there a way to set up a shortcut key for it, similar to the one to copy the price to the clipboard. And if they could be combined into one key that would be even better.

It appears getting prices from web does not include buy orders originating from citadels in range. Is there any workaround how to import prices from citadels also?

Thats pretty sad, that makes the tool completely useless for me :( Is CCP going to make the citadels data ever available or is this permanent?

EDIT: nvm, went throu last few posts here and now i know that CCP is not communicating on the matter. Thats ****** up.. I didnt do manual price updating for 2 years and now i will have to go back to it? shiiieeeet

Maybe someday. I asked about it before the citadel expansion and to this day we can't fetch all orders. That might be an indication, but who knows.

That depends on what you are fetching. I wouldn't recommend getting whole game market this way Big smile

Hi,

i'm using Evernus version 1.44.
Everytime at first start when i'm clicking on "Import all" to update all API based things, the program chrashes at half the progress. I then have to restart Evernus and do the process again - then without any problems.
