Petition to raise number of stored fittings

200 saved fittings is too strict.

I regularly have to purge good fittings from my list because I want to add something new

I'll readily admit that most of my saved fittings are garbage.
I still don't like having to purge them though.

Not that I disagree with the request but with many of my alts sharing fits it seems silly to try to maintain them with the client, I have just been relying on PYFA to store my fits as it's so simple to import/export them now.

Use note pad to copy and save, then when you want to replace an old fitting you can, but 200 saves...wow that's a lot.

That's a little bit last century.

PyFA offers much more than notepad and CREST integration. You can save your entire set of fittings in PyFA, change them and reload them straight into game.


I ran out of fittings on my main ages ago. Now I use my alts for extra fittings. 200 is a bit limited for fitting hoarders.

Between personal fits, fits for roams with other Corps, good fits I've lost to and the guy has been good enough to post in local, Alliance fits and just time, it's easy to hit the max after a while, especially before the CREST endpoint came in.

With CREST now it's much easier to manage to stay under, but for a long time now, every the I want to save a new fit, it's required a deletion first.

This, pretty much. I keep the ones in game that I use a lot, but the rest I only upload if I need them

Well, we got ghost fitting on the way in, right?

I vastly prefer saving good fits ingame just because of the easy integration for **** like buy all. I also very much enjoy creating fitting descriptions for corp fits to clue people in to stuff like "and also train the following skills" and be able to tell people to just look up fit X.

So yeah, more saved fittings. More overall integration of the functions of external tools we already use. I have a dream that one day I won't need IPH, EVEmon, or EFT, and CCP magic propagates all that **** to an official app on my phone so I can tweak DPS while I take a **** and have it magically ready to one click buy seconds after I wipe.

They just need a "clear list" function next to the "export" function.

Don't kid yourselves. Even the dirtiest pirates from the birth of EVE have been carebears. They use alts to bring them goods at cheap prices and safely, rather than live with consequences of their in game actions on their main, from concord to prices

They could bump the number of possible stored fittings to 2000 and you still wouldn't have enough.

Honestly, I would love an increase. My problem is the poor interface used to copy private fits to Corp ones. I created 2 advance and 2 basic fits for each t1 frig. That's 20 fits per race about (some ships have more options, some less).

To copy to the Corp fittings, I had to import them to my player (requiring 80+ open slots) then save them as Corp. This does not delete or move them from my player list, so I have to go back and delete those I never use. This is especially true as I want to do the same for dessie and cruiser. To do this, I have to constantly clear my saved fittings.

200 is way too low. 500 would be a nice increase.

I don't.

Between all my alts, I can fly everything smaller than a Titan, and I don't have 200 fits saved into the game between all 13 alts. It's just way to easy to save them locally in Pyfa.

With CCP adding a button to go straight to the Fitting Management window, bypassing the fitting window entirely, how hard is it to ctrl-c -> ctrl-v?
