You mean you had to tweka the MaxSize limitation? I guess I need to liften it up to a quarter of FullHD size.

Re that isse:
Do you mean that previews are stretched into a upper-left corner of each window? This can happen when one minimizes clients (via Win+D or other key combination) and then restores client window back. This looks like a DWI (that's the Windows subsystem used to create these windows) bug. Workaround is just to click on each preview window to bring its EVE client up. This will recreate the thumbnail picture and will resolve the issue.

I'm not sure what you mean. I can make a vid of it later today when I get home form work and show you what's happening. It's like the preview windows aren't starting up in the correct size. Clicking the up arrow on either Thumbnail width or height fixes it instantly.

Actually here is a screenshot that explains what is happening when it starts up, along with my preview settings. It almost looks like it is trying to compensate for the taskbar when the thumbnails are created. Clicking the up arrow on either of the size adjustments instantly fixes it. Let me know if this makes sense.

Ahoy!

This little software looks awesome, though how do I configure the hotkey to swap windows?
Not a fan of having to click each of them.

Thanks!

Question: is it possible to disable zoom sync ? Like in older (1.18.3) version, where each thumbnail had its own size.

Been wondering about this too! Saw on the front page that you can configure a hotkey or click. Clicking is getting old now :p

Edit - got this to work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJmorUbYXQU but instead of Winactivate you need to use WinActivateBottom

Hello all Smile

Status update: I plan to roll out a minor release soon (will do my best to do it this weekend actually). Bugfixes + some minor features

EOP can do this too + it will actually show you what's going on on different account (or not if you'll decide to hide the preview window). I'll update the doc page, prolly today. Notification + text itself will be posted in this thread.

EDIT: This will happen together with release. There is a slim possibility thet enabling the hotkey could crash the app. While it is unlinely, I am pretty sure this will happen for someone. A fix is required

These sizes weren't saved anyway. If you'll describe why do you need this I'll add this feature to the releases plan (yes, I have one)

Thanks. This looks like a bug and I'll investigate it deeper.

I did see the documents linked in the git page thing, but I have no idea how to do it. Would need a step by step on how to get it to run or a GUI to make it easy for me. Big thanks for your all work however!

Idk if that is in the scope of this software, but I would really like to be able to do the following:

I run eve clients in fixed window. That means when I switch between them, they are all up on the screen, just one at the top. That seems to cause them all to be redered fully, using up GPU ressources. I would be fantastic if switching to one would minimize the others, so they are not fully rendered. I can simulate that by minimizing all clients and then manually maximizing one again. I can then see 1 client, all others in eve-o-preview windows, with only the one on top beeing fully rendered. This uses up way less ressources. Once I switch to another client with eve-o-prewiew though, the one I had maximised before stays maximised in the background.

So I would like to have a feature that:
a) switches eve clients like now
b) at the same time minimizes the other clients, so only the one client and the previews of the other clients need to be rendered.

Should be possible, no?

Well IMO

This option would be like the disable station animation. Every time you birng that other clien up will be like stressing you pc by intervals. Might be will be problematic, would be good if its implemented it be an option not a most.

Yes, with some ajustment - not all other client. It would be enough to send th Minimize command only to the window you're leaving. And for sure this will be an option, disabled by default.

Btw thanks for logging this on github

I think the new Windows update broke eve-o preview a little, launching from the launcher isn't working correctly. To elaborate, as each client loads they pop up in the same spot with a weird blurred vision and are unable to be interacted with.

I'm thinking it has something to do with firewall exceptions maybe?

My current work around: Launch all clients and then open EVE-O Preview.

To start with, EOP doesn't send anything to/recieve anything from Internet, so it is not anuhow affected by firewall. After all, this little app has access to a very sensitive info (yep, for some ppl like spies, hotdroppers etc names of their alts is a VERY sensitive info)

The thing you see is caused by the fact that all EVE login windows have the same window title regardless of the account used. So EOP cannot guess(*) where to place the preview window and leawes them all on the default place.

You should be able to move them either by dragging them using the right mouse button.

The blur you see is most probably caused by one of the account windows being slightly different from others. F.e. only one of my account login windows has the notification line on the top saying 'XX days left'

---

(*) Even if it is possible to find out the account info by somehow interacting with the EVE client process, I won't do that, for obvious reasons.

I have been using EVE-O Preview for the better part of 3 months, all my mini-windows set up across the top, very nice and neat (I should probably give you a screenshot to post in your thread for multiboxing 14 dudes).

After the Windows update, it introduced new "security features". The reason I'm hypothesizing about the firewall is because I'm receiving a pop up message "the 'x' program was blocked as it was requesting to use your graphics card". Maybe firewall is the wrong focus but is more the new Windows Defender settings. I am having trouble figuring out exactly where to click so that I can allow my multiboxing neckbearding to continue.

Additionally, I have never experienced the blurred screen in the miniature window. They have always been accurate mini-captures of each client. Since the most recent Windows Update, it causes all the launched clients to begin in the same spot with blurred views. It also completely removes the ability to click on said mini-windows and open client. Alt-tabbing to the clients are broken as well.

I'm going to try reinstalling EVE-O Preview, like I probably should have done at first.

My current work around is to launch all clients, then open EVE-O Preview and it works fine with the exception of typically one client crashing.

tl;dr - I'm bad or Window Update probably broke something with video cards and prevents EVE-O Preview from running normally.

Well, the last major Win10 update killed my system and I had to entirely reinstall everything (a fun thing to do when installing some stuff takes a rally long time and the deadline is just a several days ahead).

Still disabled Alt+TAB should be something not related to EOP.

Try to reinstall the GPU drivers. Reinstalling EOP won't help as it is a self-contained .exe file that doesn't write anything anywhere excpept for its config file. Except of reinstalling you might try to just remove the configuration file and restart the app.

EDIT:
Not sure but this might be caused by a lack of video card's memory. Launching that much clients already stresses it hard enough and when EOP comes and tells Windows 'Hey, I want to mirror these windows' it might cause some issues with the drivers and the wideo manager (thus the blur). You can easily check this by setting all graphic settings to lowest and restarting all clients.

UPDATE: Got it working again, no issues - even ran full load of 14 clients at once. I added the notes of immediate results yay/nay b/c I'm not sure if all these things collectively did something or just did / did not do anything individually.

I'm not exactly sure what allowed it to work, but here is a list of things I did:
1. Reinstall Nvidia Drivers / try numerous settings of driver - Didn't see immediate results
2. Tweaked Paging Files in Advanced Settings - Didn't see immediate results
3. Uninstalled latest Windows 10 update / reverted back to previous build (which still had the new update since Windows decided to kill all my restore points) - Didn't see immediate results.
4. Went into Windows firewall and added both the EVE Launcher & EVE-O Preview to acceptions. - This got rid of the "blocked an application trying to use the graphics card" notification so that's good. Ultimately unsure of immediate results.
5. Literally took my PC apart and rebuilt it (it was due for a cleaning anyway so I figured why not) - Unsure of results.
6. Restarted PC after all previous attempts, ran EVE and EVE-O. I changed the in-game display settings to "Interval One". IT WORKS! *Note: I had previously tried the interval one thing to no success.

Steps 4, 5, & 6 I performed all together as one mission so I didn't really individually test for results.

Here's what it looks like now and should have always looked like (feel free to use this image as an example if you want):

I recently had the same problem as BBTB3. Every time I would launch EOP with my 6 clients up 2 previews would become blurry and non functional, one would become non functional at normal resolution, and the remaining 3 worked normally. I could not alt-tab into any of the "broken" clients.

When I would click on, or alt tab into, any of the broken clients they would become the active client and accept keyboard commands but wouldn't display on screen. Pressing escape twice to open and close the options menu of a broken client seems to solve the issue.

I love this but noticed low fps and a lot of jank when I use it now with 6 clients.

My setup is 3x4K monitors running at 3840x2160. If I leave them running the main active one I see around 50-60FPS and the other two monitors at 30FPS. When I launch EOP I see the FPS drop to about 30FPS on the active one and around 17FPS on the other two.

Not sure if there's a setting or something I can do to tune this so it doesn't cause the FPS to drop so much.

Try to update GPU drivers and/or lower some graphic settings
