Same here. If you hover over your screen with your cursor you can find the start button but it wont do anything. Right now the launcher is downloading 2.37GB of data after going to settings and clicking download everything. Isnt that the entire game?

I had this issue as well, but I went to Settings> Shared Cache Settings > Verify Integrity of Downloaded Files

It seemed to fix it after I restarted the launcher. You may or may not have to reset your cache as well in the same fashion.

Maybe to do with Mac-version :)

Login successful ... but after starting got red message "Client closed unexpectedly" ... ??? Got MacPro tower. I have tried everything starting with launcher options up to the reinstallation and complete erase of the client. Nothing have worked ... BTW Launcher version 1069348


I wrote bug report to CCP ... waited 24 hours. No change, I am not even able to open bug report window !!!??? Common guys I am paying for 4 accounts ...

Promotional article pop-over is annoying and unnecessary. Just put a blinking "new" or a star beside the article in the news list. Also, when you have multiple accounts set up the "play" and "stop" buttons should be larger. This trend of putting tiny buttons and clumsy Android UIs on PCs needs to die a quick and decisive death.

Just a few things:-

1. Why is it that my login details for all five accounts are wiped after every patch meaning I have to re-enter all of the login details.

2. Why is it that CCP cannot understand the concept behind Dynamic IP addressing, meaning that an IP address is going to be changed regularly by some of our ISP's as an extra security measure. This then makes the IP address challenge very annoying and yes I have put a tick in the box 'don't ask me again' but the friggin launcher keeps asking.

3. Now I cannot even login, 5 accounts worth of CCP income about to be lost because somebody cannot write code properly.

4. Why is it that there is not a way of switching off the very annoying hanger adverts that we have to put up with and that take up GPU resources.

I have to agree with you. This is a serious issue for the customers paying for multiple accounts and unable to even log one in.

I have to agree with you. This is a serious issue for the customers paying for multiple accounts and unable to even log one in.


About #4 - it's totally pointless. How about they put an option to remove all the 3D objects so I get icons only (sarcastic) ? It's because this game has certain GPU demands. They want to keep certain graphical standard, and kudos to them for that. It's 21st century, time to replace your Pentium 2s

admitting that i didnt even read page 1 of this thread and knowing that i will repeat a lot issues i have to vent my rants about that stupid launcher!

1. why is it necessary that this THING is updating every day? cant you just get it in a working state, KEEP IT FOR A FEW MONTH, and have it load the advertisings and news and links and stuff dynamically?
i just dont see the reason why theres 20mb downloads every day. pure from the glancing at it i see no difference and technically its some days broken (needs a machine restart before accepting client launches) and sometimes it works. what justifies 20mb download when its replaced with another trash version the day after.
it causes me a delay logging in quick in the lunch break and fills up my monthly lte contingent. its at 30gb and most of the time i dont reach it by gaming or windows updates etc but once in a while i blow the limit and fall back to UMTS speed and boy could i kick ccp to the moon when i have to patch a launcher then....

2. as mentioned on 1. sometimes my clients wont run. i have all accounts stored with passwords saved. i click the triangle for launch, then the triangle changes into a square and like 5 seconds later it changes bac to a triangle.
most of times a reboot fixes the problem.

3. the old launcher annoyed a lot with asking a charakter on that account all the time even if i clicked the box "remember" this is now a bit better but once in a while the new launcher forgets the settings and i have to reenter all accounts, and get asced the security bullshit etc etc .
well 2 factor security is nice to have. im sure some player want it.
i dont

pls do it as an option. make tha whole launcher optional
this leads to the natural nr. 4

4. bring the exefile.exe back like it worked so many years

5. and while you are at it to integrate cliant launch and account login and settings management into a ONE WORKING WHOLE you could just add a logout to login screen. i think one or two of ccp have had a look on WOW somewhere in the past. ask them how this could be designed....

Lost Accounts yet again !

Hi, I was under the impression this issue was gone cause it did not happen some weeks now, but now after DT I find the launcher on 2 computers have lost some (not all) accounts again.

I would appreciate if this could finally be fixed for good.

I've already got my accounts squared away, but I was having difficulties. It seems there is a bit of lag from the server for account recovery process. The password reset email was being sent after the expiration of the code, so it was coming back invalid/ expired. I had to do it a couple of times to get it to work.

I lost my email adress and cant log into 3 of my accounts. plz stop forcing email verification by log in!

I didn't had my email verified for the last 13 years which wasn't a problem!
Why don't you let us a time span of 30 or 60 days for it, so your support has time to clear problems.

At the moment there seem to be no support at all and i can't play, while i still pay for nothing!

I bet there are thousands of player who can't log in, filing support tickets, while also your patch didn't work properly and you get a shitload of suzpport tockets for that as well.
Who in Hell made these crappy deciusions? There is abolutely no reason to force this authentification now!
