Go to Settings, Shared Cache settings, Permissions... (Fix permissions of cache folder)

So.. The launcher isn't showing "offline" status, it just shows online XXX numbers.

Back to guessing when DT is over.
At least the screwups are consistent.

My opinions are mine.

It really is getting harder and harder to justify $23 a month for each sub.

fix permitions did nothing..

still the same.. launcher restarts over and over trying to instal update..

Champions online: Never saw it above 0% CPU when idle, and also takes only a third of the memory footprint. These launchers also never spike when idle (I kept programs running to monitor CPU usage). The highest spike I ever encountered on Eve launcer: Thirteen Percent. I could name you more launchers, but they all fall under the same category. Less CPU usage, less memory usage.
  6. I don't get a notification for a fresh news entry nor anything else. It just sits there and is silent.
  7. It's not the slowest launcher but definitely also not the fastest. Exefile has always been the fastest, no matter which iteration of the launcher we're talking about.
  8. The launcher does not provide any faster way of relogging characters so there is no reason to use it speed-wise over the "log-off" function of the eve client.

Other than that, I had not the misfortune of other pilots like endless patching, reinstalling or launcher crashing.

keeps loosing my passwords

log in my 9 accounts - pin my 9 accounts - close launcher its lost my 9 pin accounts

i thought the launchers was supposed to be a faster way to log in - not if you have to type 9 accounts and 9 passwords every single time you close the launcher it isnt

Hey CCP, after you fix the launcher can you add this option: http://imgur.com/a/DAEt6 ?

It's a quality of life like option so we can quickly start the game without maximizing the launcher..
Adding the account names would be even better but I don't know how hard would that be..

I may have missed it but is there a fix yet for the tiny launcher on UltraHD resolutions? I can deal with it but it really sucks. Thanks.

The dev version now correctly scales according to your settings on Windows 10, at least. I'm hoping to promote that to the release version in a week or so.

My launcher brings up a black screen with only the close, minimize, and the dropdown on the tittle bar of the launcher Window. Now that we can no longer log in through the .exe file, I have no way to get onto the game and cannot play. CCPlz

I have submitted a support ticket detailing the situation. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, both the entire game and just the launcher, and I have tried the repair tool. All my drivers are up to date and I am running on Windows 7. I also tried to edit environment variables as CCP Snorlax suggested in another thread here on the forums. Nothing has worked and I cannot find any solutions via Google, either. Anyone found a way around this problem?

EDIT: I found a fix:

I use an NVIDIA supported GPU. I opened my NVIDIA control panel and changed my color depth from 16-bit to 32-bit and now I can see the launcher properly.

I just DL'ed the launcher onto my Windows 10 Laptop. I cannot launch or even log into my character because, at the Character Name Screen, once I correctly input my character name, it says that I need to enable cookies on my browser. I looked in Chrome and they are enabled locally and there is no cookie option within the launcher. Could you please advise what is needed to work around this issue?

Same launcher number same, message, appeared after I logged in though.... but need to change to different char and dont wanna while its busted.

Bit more testing:

For me at least it only seems to be a problem with Tranquility, singularity loads the account fine.
