Fee for transferring ISK.. but only sometimes?

Hey there,
Just sent some isk to an alt, about 200M and the amount that 'popped' up on my other screen was 199,845,670 or something to that effect. I tried it subsequently and the full amount posts on the pop-up.

Is there a fee for giving money?

Both are in the same corp, I guess from now on use the same wallet division? The corp doesn't have a tax rate... am I missing something?

I looked at my wallet and it says the full amount was received but I can not find a fee anywhere. And YES, I AM POSITIVE the amount that popped up was not the full amount, round number of 200M.

No, there is no fee.

Maybe you only had 199,845,670 isk in the wallet of the transferring character? If so EVE simply rounds it down to all the money you have without asking.

Yeah, you probably didn't have enough ISK in your wallet.

Does the communication charge for mails and convos apply to transferring isk?

Check your transaction tab, maybe something was bought after you got the 200M

Chribba, I just did and there was not anything within about 14-15 minutes.

Tsukino, that is what I was thinking but it only happens on some occasions which is why I am leaning towards a timing thing, as Chribba suggested.


Thanks for the input, will have to watch it going forward or just use the corp wallet.

I'd like to say I witnessed this too the other day. Sent 600m, and briefly saw 599m+change flash up. The wallet shows the correct balance of this transaction, and there's no other entrys right at that time. But I saw it.

I suspect it might have to do with the pop-up interface itself? Its lagged behind when doing multiple transactions, so, I assume its a glitch of some kind.

I would infiorm CONCORD about it, someone may be skimming ISK on the route. That is serious criminal offence.
