Skipping pilot selection at launch

Something that I always liked about DAoC, was you could select the character to sign in as through the launcher, making it very easy to quickly get in game. Has CCP ever considered this?

this is nice idea, also a option to directly go to character selection wen you log off.

You can choose to auto-login after you sign in. Is this what you want to do?

No, he wants to skip the character selection screen and instead select the character he wants to play with right in the launcher so that he lands directly in the game when he presses play.

Bingo. Why spend time to load the character select, when I know what character I want to log before I press play?
