Thank you ccp great event.

1-Love that fact you move around space and are not glued to a zone like lvl 4 missions. Boring
2-Many different sorties is good but loot in all would be nice.
3-Can rewards awesome
4-Would love to see more of different pirate factions in the same event window so that all races can particiapate with there race ships.
5-Can you please use this system to replace missions, i'm just over those seriously.

Would i love to see more of these events HELL YES. Would i replace them over lvl 4's HELL YES. I believe you found a new source for missioning and rewards. Though it would be nice if you have all pirate factions so that all race ships can contribute. For now from what i see there are not many amarr ships going up against serpentis in sites, kinetic damage.

The event has similarities to wormhole activities but less threat from pvp players which i like very much as a combat pilot in hs.
You have made us explore different systems and use different flight paths this is awesome. I hope this is a replacement for missioning seriously i'm over missions. Let alone i'm gaining more in this event than in a wormhole.

Love it guys well done. Can only improve now

Big clapp.

I love the idea of the event. The only issue in my opinion is that the rewards are solely loot based and aren't instanced. So far 99% of the sites I've run I've done 90% of the work just to have someone in a fast cruiser loot everything and I get nothing. Rewards should be based on how much of the site you've done, not who spammed loot all and got the server tick on their side. To be honest it's taken a lot of the fun out of the event to be screwed out of the rewards continuously.

Otherwise I love that there's different activities and that the information is in game, that makes it a lot easier to participate. I just wish the rewards were distributed better.

Ninja looting is almost certainly working as intended.

Of course you know this means war!

Ninja looting is zero risk and all the reward. It doesn't promote meaningful choices, which is something EVE has a base concept. Burning in at the end, taking no aggro and killing none of the ships while getting all the loot just removes the incentive to do the sites in the first place.

The sites don't pay much, Lvl 4 missions make more isk, the incentive is to be involved in the event and get some of the loot that will be useful in the next update. Ninja looting the event sites is bad for the event.

Heya, true in the ninja looting department. Too many worms dont' like doing the hard work and quickly go to the can to loot. It's bastard feeling to watch your loot vanish. Yes improvement in this department needs to be dealt with but I don't know how ccp will go on about it.

As for lvl 4's they don't pay as much as what i've made in a week. I've easily made over 1 bill this week in this event. Ok you need to mindfull of what type of ship your gonna fly, what weapons to use. And most importantly how to execute the middle group fast to kill the beacon so no one can just warp to you. Obviously there are tactics involved.

But yes the loot needs to be dealt with a bit better. Would have been nice if they also added loot containers in the other non yard sites as well.

You don't go blinky when looting the vault in high sec? :(

It's the first of the "new format" event, testing ground I guess... Commander that you loot (or something) and actual loot worth more than 2m would be better to promote pew pew.

I agree on the ninja looting problem. I spent the first days seeing all "my" loot taken by other people, and now in retaliation I found the way to steal if from everybody else more efficiently. I passed from losing 90% of the loots to stealing 90% of it, probably annoying somebody else. This is EVE, you may say, but as Jason said before there is no risk in doing it.
It might be interesting to change the normal cargo in Serpentis Shipyard and Research Facilities with a Ghost-Site like cargo, which spawns a lot of cans that disappear quickly. If a person is soloing the room he may have all the loot if he's good, but then instead if there are multiple people this would increase the chance to allow everyone to have some loot.
The ultimate balanced system would be having each of the spawned cans be assigned to each of the currently on-field capsuleers (maybe with the requirement that they have to have killed at least a ship, or assigning more spawned cargoes to the players that made more damage on the field). But I don't know if this is feasible with game mechanics.

Personally I dislike it. I have spent more time searching for the kind of site i need, almost never finding the right guards at the gates, often losing my work because I was unable to find the 5th of this or the 5th of that , than doing the actual sites.

The first days the sites and spawning seemed more balanced, but after a time finding 5 of X that was different from the Serpentis shipyards was almost impossible, even jumping trough 20-30 systems every day.
Maybe in some area of space the encounters were more common, but in high sec Gallente and Amarr space apparently the Serpentis sites are fairly rare and and the Angel sites almost unknown.

By my math getting the gold container require about 120 hours of play in 40 days, and part of the reward will be lost if you don't get 50K points within 30 days (AFAIK the booster stop working after the event ends).

The 25K reward was fairly poor (no BPC) so it is extremely chancy too. I can get finding 1 rare BPC or 1 more common BPC in silver and gold containers, but no BPC at al, 3 SKINs, 1 jacket 3 copper and 1 silver oroborus as the rewards for the 10K and 25K containers? Weak.

Sorry, with 60 hours of missions I will get more money and be less bored by "jump in anew system, look for the guards and beacons -> nothing, jump in another system -> something attack at 0 risk".
