Scope Network basics - what/where are valid targets?

Despite all the chatter about the Scope Network, we newbs are missing some essential instructions.

When a mission eg: [Keep up the Pressure] asks us to "destroy a few Serpentis shipyard and research facility sites", where do i look for them? Are they just any Serpentis Combat Site i see on the Probe Scanner, or do i have to look for a specific Scope Network site?

They appear on your overview and don't need to be scanned down or anything of the sort.

There is an objective to clear 10 DED sites, which do have to get scanned down.
That one's special.

Alright, so far i have:

- any rats, even in asteroid/ice belts, will suffice for Scope Network missions asking you to kill pirates
- many of the missions do appear in the overview - make sure you have "Celestial Beacon" enabled
- DED sites need to be (combat?) scanned - Shallanna

I took advantage of the 3 new Overview Tabs we got with last week's patch. Added a tab called "Scope Network", and it automatically inherited a "General" preset. Removed stuff i didn't need as i went along - so far rats and Celestial Beacons are all i have needed.
