ally system question

alliance A declares war against corporation ABC
corporation A also declares war against corporation ABC.

5 days later.....
corporation A becomes an ally to corporation ABC to help defend ABC against Alliance A.
2 hours later, a notification is sent ending the war between corporation A & ABC.

for 22 hours corporation A is at war with, and ally to, corporation ABC.

is this a violation of the ally system?

good lord you made that confusing

alliance A declares war against corporation B
corporation C also declares war against corporation B

Edit: i know the war you are talking about ,
they have allied in a different war than the one they are aggressors in so i dont see how this is an abuse, a bit silly though ill grant you

i think we both know the corporations being referred to.
silly? probably

but the question is: is being the aggressor, and an ally, to the same corporation legal (even if for 22 hours)?

you got it wrong:
corp A is the aggressor AND ALLY to the same corp.
corp A started a war against corp b and is now an ally to corp b at the same time.
after 22 hours, though, corp A will only be an ally.

Is it something along the lines of, "we want this contested resource and will fight each other over it but you lot bring good fight and screw these other people trying to join the fight with logi and ECM"?

no i think its "those are my tards , mine!" or they came to an arrangement with one of the agressors,
the former being more likley, the corp in question is basically a punching bag so i doubt they have anything crafty planed.

that said they have actually come out and fought , repeatedly so ill give them some credit.

Nt really an issue.

A wardec is just a mechanic to allow legal fighting in highsec and like all mechanics, it has some rules around it.In this case, a 24 hour cool down timer that still allows that legal fighting.

However at the same time, players can communicate and agree something different. The mechanics don't have to get in the way of players collaboration.
