my launcher has been fubar ever since the 1st june update

i've filed 4 or 5 tickets on this already to no avail. for the first 10 days i had to delete and reinstall eve on my pc daily to make it run. now i have to click the start about 10 or 15 times to get the launcher to...launch. then i enter my passcodes and the launcher tells me to wait...well, i let it wait over 24 hours once and gave up. i have found that in order for the new launcher to work..all i need to do is all of this...then open up settings and click save. then it'll work until i close the launcher...then i go back to square one again.
as i said before, i've filed many tickets on this and no one ever got back to me on it. ccp customer service at its best i guess.

so here is my idea. if no one gets back to me from ccp on this by the time my toons come up for sub, i'll give my stuff away to my former corpmates and leave eve and never come back. also i'd like to take this opportunity to congradulate ccp on making all of us who bought citadels thinking that they'd be able to have research, industry and invention into suckers. really coulda used that 6 bill i spent on other things. the clock is ticking devs........

For what it is worth, this evening when I went to login, none of my accounts were showing in the launcher.

Very frustrating to have to enter them all again.

I re-entered the first account, and then all the other accounts reappeared!

The launcher seems to have some issues. Ugh

I've been playing EvE for over 7 years now, so you can see that I don't threaten to quit because of temporary technical difficulties.

Also, 4 to 5 tickets filed on one issue is likely the reason why you and others get slow responses. File one ticket only per issue, and update it as necessary. Most of all be patient, and keep in mind sh** happens in life.

yet you can still log in to give away your stuff...

1) filing multiple tickcts is stupid. You are causing your own back log and putting your request at the back of the queue. don;t do that.

2) have you bothered checking your pc for virus or other issues? cause my launcher has had zero issues. so it could be your end. Run a full virus scan, check your hardware, or something.

3) patience. flooding the help system won;t get you anywhere.

Current wait times for tickets are looking closer to the 3-6 month range, so you can just save yourself some waiting and give it to me now.

People like you opening 4-5 separate tickets instead of just updating a single one don't help.

The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool. They lay. They rotted. They turned Around occasionally. Bits of flesh dropped off them from Time to time. And sank into the pool's mire. They also smelt a great deal.

To the OP, there's basically 3 steps to take to hopefully help fix the problem.


File a Bug Report.

Submit a Support Ticket.

Check the sub-forum 'Issues, Workarounds & Localization'.


Anyway, if all else fails, do a Google Search. I hope you quickly find a solution to the launcher issue.

Granted opening up 4-5 tickets on the same issue might add to the waiting time but it's no where near 3-6 months, more like 3-6 weeks at the max. Also not every single ticket from every single player for every single issue in this game are all going to one single desk at Customer Support.
