IGB replacement with link to a browser

I like to have fast access to an browser ingame. So I like the IGB but can understand the reason for it's removement.

Why not replace the IGB with a customizable link to a browser of your choice? So you still have the icon ingame but it links to an external browser of your choice. The call should make the browser behave like the igb with window size, placement and on top of the eve window.
So you can customize a fast small browser for the links you need but still have the functionality to quickly call and dismiss it, copy things to it etc. Eve needs too many outside progs already don't add another with some obscure methods to call forward. It may work for the pros but it will confuse noobs.

For example in Low it's a nice feature to check if people are notorious gankers so you quickly copy the name to zKillboard. But you don't need the browser all the time so you can "kill" it with a click.

Maybe CCP wants us to alt-tab and die more, or to buy a second screen just for the browser window (this post is sponsored by LG).

I can't imagine playing without browser support (even now, playing and whining on forum at same time), so alt-tab 20 times per minute or window mode (wich sucks, i want to enjoy this beautiful game full screen).

Is this a new option? When did CCP sneak a fullscreen option in the client, wasn't in the patch notes.

Having direct calls to a different exe files in your game is a BAD idea especially when you have no control on what that outside exe is.

I can see the no real reason because the only interaction between both will be either over CREST or the clipboard. If you want you can seperate the threads.
In the end you will have to install something like hotkeynet, configure the call that the window stays on top and calls the right browser etc. Then you have find out how to handle the size an positioning of this window etc. I want to play EVE and don't want a crash course in low level window management. CCP should start integrating things and not add some out-of-game tools with crude methods to start. Identify most used websites/tools and INTEGRATE them someway into EVE so that you are not more playing outside of Eve then within.

Maybe an out of game browser that is windowed with Crest, Ore Chart, Resistance and Damage chart, etc. similar to how Google stores your favorite sites below the search dialogue box. You click your GUI Icon and it opens up the out of game browser with your selected windowed charts.

CCP mentions the Overwolf and Steam browsers, yet don't give the option to select which browser link open in.
I play eve fullscreen across 2 screens, and although its not a big issues to tab out of the game, loosing sight of the client while you are trying to check in-game info (workhole tracking) is a bit annoying.
