Faction layered/energized plating

I'd love to see some faction versions of layered plating and energized membrane for ships sporting polarized weapons. As we all know, polarized weapons completely removes all resistance on the ship they're fitted to, effectively halving the HP. I realize it's a question of tank vs dps, but a ship's survivability would still suffer greatly even with faction versions of the armor hp boosting modules. And besides that, I don't see any reason why faction/deadpsace variants would not exist in the game.
