You can make isk and you can loose isk trading so I don't know how anyone could quantify your expected income. Fast isk is harder to come by slow isk is a bit easier. So you can make a little bit of isk a whole bunch of times or a lot of isk every once in a while.

Other than that you'll have to do your market research yourself.

I want to give you a decent answer, but when I think of it all is can come up with is that you could double your money every month or every year or even more or even less. It's an honest answer, but not very useful.

Thank you all for answers and sorry i asked a wrong notspecific question let me change it a bit. If i play few hours a day just waging 0.1isk war on item that has traffic of 40 daily and margine is 10mil. So i know you cant expect 10*40=400mil but 100? 200?

It doesn't answer your question directly but I just wrote about how I made some isk. It might give you something to think about.

Why don't you just try it for a day and see how much you make?

Trade is percentage based income. So 800m isn't going to do a lot at first. First you have to figure out your markets, and this takes a while usually to pick a good product basket.
Also, station trading at a major hub is going to be a major pain. You'll have to dedicate just about as much time to it as missioning or some other profession, especially when you have so little capital that it really needs to move quickly to be worthwhile.
Consider also using contracts and inter-region trading to build your nest egg, sometimes faster.

Inter-region trading has higher profit rate per trade, less isk is lost to taxes and fees, but you take the risk of losing cargo. Rita Jita does a lot of inter-region trading using contracts. So don't let anyone tell you that only station traders are "real" traders.

When I first started trading, I would just fly around in a rookie ship buying from different markets and having someone else take the risk.

Trade if you like doing the research and keeping records to figure out trends and chatting with other traders. Lots of players would rather mission, haul, produce, mine, scam, or any number of other things. Some players like to manipulate the market, either for their own enjoyment, or for the benefit of their corp/alliance. Watch out for price manipulation, it happens a lot, and those sure profits you scout out can just be the results of a war no longer being fought, or some multi-region trade scam. There are even some tricks used to trick station traders, especially those that rely on bots.

the thing i found with trading, you always invest your profits so any profit you make is really just a number on a calculator, unless you end up making copious amounts of isk then you can store liquid

You might also experiment with region trading (arbitrage) - buying in Jita and hauling to a smaller hub where you can sell it for more. You can even find online tools that will show you items that are profitable to move around.

That will let you get out of the station and fly around in space which you might find enjoyable.

Arbitrage combined with actual product movement is something of a speculative hauling career. It increases risk factors over just station trading. You always have to factor in cargo/ship loss and other variables that make this a bit more advanced than just station trading so your space mileage may vary.

If not, maybe trade isn't for him.
