While attending EVE fanfest 2016 I noticed that for CCP it's all about corporations nothing for solo players like me. I can't imagine to join any corporation. I liked to play when I have the time.

I was thinking if a solo player could do level 5 missions too. The way would be to create a group of players own. You would take few of your own clones and assemble them with ships. As they are your clones they would have your skills. The group would partly work like drones i.e. when you command they would attact etc. They would need AI skills to do things like create shiels/armor, run target painter/webfier etc. Of cource you would be the one fit the shipd before a mission. The group of yours would be limited only for level 5 missions. How this sounds?

By the way an answer to CCP Chost how to "sell" EVE Online for a test user in two hours. How about doing it in 5 minutes by creating guided tour that shows the basics of the game.

And when you expand this idea outside the narrow scope of being able to solo level 5 missions, it becomes easily abused. Fleets composed entirely of clones and clones of alts would be used to run everything from anoms to gank fleets.

If you want to do level 5 missions solo, do the necessary research to figure out how the people who currently do them solo run them. It is possible.

The corollary to Malcanis' Law: Anything done to make things easier for a solo player will invariably be the greater benefit of more numerous and organized players.

After all... if you take away the alliance/corporation/fleet flag... all you are left with is a bunch of "solo" players coordinating with each other via TeamSpeak/Ventrilo/Mumble. And they have access to the same mechanics as everyone else.

You can already solo level 5 missions though? People do it all the time.

That indeed. And you can already have your own group: it is called alts organized in your private chat channel.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

but..but effort?

And the worst thing of all would be to talk to someone, as lucadris as that sounds.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

If players can do it npcs should not.

This is a mmo try looking up what that stands for.

I'm not saying you can't or shouldn't play solo just that a multiplayer game should not bend to accommodate it

I run them completely solo (so do many others) so i dont know what you are really proposing here, is it a skill issue or some sort of safety issue like getting them into highsec so you can solo them easier without the risk and without capitals?

Allbeit you wont run them solo unless you are in a group as lowsec pirates have all those agents secured for their own use, some things in this game are just not meant to be solo activities

Fly a carrier if you want to solo level 5 missions. But really, you probably shouldn't be attempting level 5 missions solo at all.

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."

why not?

We will see if he answers, but my thoughts are that if the OP could run level 5's solo he would not be asking for this change.
Since he is asking for the change it is likely the OP does not have character or players skills to run level 5's solo so Reaver's warning is valid and if heeded would save the OP a needless ship loss.

To the OP you get a -1.
