Wouldn't it be cool if the new FPS from CCP let you use your EvE characters to play a mini game inside New Eden?
You could fly to different systems and slug it out in stations. All the different stations in different systems could be new maps that you had to fight over to give you buffs in those systems.
Sort of like adding Faction Warfare to Walking in Stations..

Been hoping for "fighting in stations" for years.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could board a citadel and take it offline and take it over without having to destroy it?

We'll have guns and stuff. Everybody likes guns.

Yes it would be cool. +1 for wishful thinking.

A similar idea was actually listed with many other ideas in a thread years ago when CCP asked the player base to come up with ideas for Avatar Game Play content.

Course that work was abandoned, now it's just another one of CCP's many 'Promises In The Dark / Heartbreaker' ideas.

WiS was shelved by CCP after the disaster release that was Incarna. Not so much because WiS was unwanted as a whole, the idea certainly had its fans, bit IIRC simply because WiS at the time was distracting from the main focus, which was EVE itself.

Now we are getting more avatar based entries into the EVE universe, starting with Dust/Nova, and now Gunjack and Valkyrie, maybe it's time to revisit that aspect, though it's not a small undertaking, as just having people walk around in stations without purpose will be the death of that idea.
IMHO CCP may be forced to do it though, as the avatar based POW seems to be the main attraction of upstarts.. I mean startups like StarCitizen.
