Ok, I'm going to try to optimize it a bit. Can you guesstimate at which point, fetching the whole market will be better for the server than individual items? I whish to keep the load as low as possible for every use case.

Requesting them all from this new resource rather than per type is going to be better for sure.

I suspect there's a border line for that. For example, is requesting 1 item the old way better than fetching the whole market? If so, what's the magic number to switch to the new endpoint to make it as efficient as possible?

I'm having an issue with "File Import" not working as intended after updating(old orders not being removed etc). I have not yet tried uninstalling completely and reinstalling. Has anyone else had this issue?

EDIT: Add/Remove programs displaying:
http://puu.sh/oAzO2/001af9b16b.png CCleaner
http://puu.sh/oAzRz/df08b4c232.png Windows 10 add/remove

Perhaps if I clean this up it'll sort itself out.

Edit2: Keep in mind, on the screen shot above, my evernus says version 1.41 in the "about" page, but ccleaner shows 1.40

Running into issues removing these... I uninstalled one version, the rest are giving me: http://puu.sh/oAAhP/cfacb36533.png

Tried restarting my pc as well to remove them. Windows uninstaller appears to do nothing with no error. Any ideas?

Edit 3: So I originally had multiple 1.33 versions installed, after the first uninstalltion, the rest of the 1.33 will not uninstall. I have uninstalled all the rest: http://puu.sh/oAAz0/722a4d716f.png

Edit: 4: So I load up the program, in eve do an order export, go to "personal orders" and do File import... then proceed to update all my orders. Once done that, I do another export in EVE, swap to Evernus and do File Import, and the orders are not displaying my new prices I just changed.

Bandwidth usage wise requesting an individual type might be better in cases where that type is a minor fraction of orders. However it is purely a bandwidth consideration. We should have this all orders resource cached at almost all times since so many people will be requesting it. So chances are even though it is larger it is more likely to be cached. NGINX is wicked fast and reliable and if it is a cache hit then you just deal with NGINX. So if bandwidth isn't a concern this is more than likely the faster way to go except for maybe in the forge. With 20,000 results per page and The Forge only being 15 pages you can get an idea of how few pages most regions will be.

I have a question regarding the FPC feature.

I've got my hotkey setup so that it it copies the price and then moves down to the next item on my order list in Evernus. However what I haven't been able to figure out or achieve is to display the same order for items within the in game browser so when I click on display overbid. Those seem to always be listed in alphabetical order and I can't seem to filter the order list within Evernus to alphabetical (for only items that I need to change).

Thank you!

Here's a screenshot of both Evernus and what my IGB link looks like.

No matter how I filter or order that list in Evernus, it ALWAYS shows up in alphabetical order in the IGB. I'm sure there's something really simple I'm missing but I can't for the life of me see it :(

Thank you again for your help!

Hold on, you can't change the ordering in the IGB. Are you talking about that?

Haha damn you're fast!

After I posted I realized my screenshots weren't showing any problems so I went back and redid everything after a few of my buy orders got outbid!

In any case if I can't change the order in the IGB link then there must be a way to have Evernus filter for only outbid items in alphabetical order (because this is how the IGB lists overbid items)? That or I have no clue how FPC is intended to be used??

To be honest, I'm not quite sure I understand the problem. If you sort the list in Evernus by name (click on the table header) then it will be sorted exactly as the order list in the Eve client. You can then use FPC to copy the price and right click on each of your orders in Eve to update them. You can filter only outbid, if that's faster for you - that's no problem. But I don't understand what does IGB has to do with all of this.

How do I filter only outbid? Basically what happens to me is that FPC keeps copying prices of items that are not necessarily outbid because it just goes down the list one item at a time regardless of it's status.

Say for example 200mm autocannon has been outbid so i use FPC to copy the price. FPC then hovers to the very next item below. My problem is that maybe only half my orders are actually outbid so I keep copying prices of erroneous items until I eventually get down to the next item that is actually outbid. Clearly I am not using it correctly. One method of fixing this would be to filter the list to show only outbid as you said but I haven't found that option in the filters?

Ok, no worries there. First - Evernus by default doesn't copy new price on non-outbid orders (or rather, copies the old price so nothing gets updated in Eve), so you are perfectly fine just updating everything and not caring if something is outbid or not (that's configurable, of course). Second - you can use script filtering to show only outbid. Just select "script" and enter "order.overbid.normalizedDiff > 0" as the filter.

Hi Pete,

I'm new to Evernus, so I apologize if this is something obvious I'm missing, but I'm getting some errors that seem to imply that it might be something on the Crest server side of things. I'm trying to pull data from Crest for market analysis and am getting the following: http://imgur.com/iINxkW1

It then proceeds to hang and not complete that process and I have to manually close the dialog and then no data is loaded.

Am I doing something wrong, or is Crest just acting up?

It wasn't working correctly at first because I hadn't selected script first and inverting the order didn't work but I got it working now! I have to say I'm still confused as to how FPC would be faster than the margin tool without this trick to filter the list to only see and change overbid items.

In any case thank you so much for your help! And thank you for making such a widely amazing and useful market tool. I'm sure I'm only using a small portion of it and yet it has been miraculous!

When I am in corporate orders, I select all then right-click 'delete orders'. However, it only deletes a portion of the orders (10% or so). When trying to delete a large amount of orders, this takes a while. Is there a better way to delete orders? Why does it not jhust delete all the orders I selected?

Is there currently a way to add decimal places to the 30-day min avg volume column in the market analysis tab? doing null trading and would be intersted to know if something with a great margin and low competition is moving 0.95 units per day or 0.0095 units per day.

If not would it be possible to add in a future version?

Also when applying a station only filter to the destination, does the volume show only that station or region wide?
