Add a NeoCom window to allow players to view the on grid activity around the station/citadel they are currently docked in via the station/citadel's external cameras.

It is extremely common for players to undock an alt, look around the grid to see if it is safe, then undock another character safe in the knowledge that the undock is clear of Tornados/war targets. Many players do this with a second account so they have even more up to date info and do not have the delay of logging out and back in. It is the sort of thing that you can easily use trial accounts for. Adding the ability to view to the external grid of the station currently docked in would provide exactly the same information in a more convenient manner. Certainly we could continue to just use neutral alts to check the grid, this is really a quality of life feature. The sort of people who undock and autopilot shuttles full of plex or freighters through Uedama likely aren't going to take the time to use the feature anyway, it is really just a quality of life improvement for people who take the time to be cautious.

It also has the benefit of opening up the ability to spectate on fights on the local grid without cluttering up the system with more ships and assets to track which could allow players to kick back in Jita and watch the fireworks of exploding haulers on the undock or spectate on the guys in Hek duelling in faction Battleships, all without causing extra load on the system by having more ships in space for the server to track.

And undocking a trial account alt doesn't give the exact same intel for the exact same lack of risk?

I could certainly see restricting it in LowSec and NPC Null. I would think it should work in Sov Null if it is your station. Even only allowing it to work in your home station would be a benefit.
