One of the confusing aspects of the game for new players are the various timers and tags that you can acquire through normal gameplay (aggression timers, polarization timers, criminal status, etc.). Players who understand how these timers work can sometimes leverage this knowledge to get their opponents to make mistakes and lose their ships.
