This is a class on the functions and uses of the Directional scanner - often called the "d-scan". There is a large amount of information stored in the scanner, and it can be overwhelming if you don't know what your looking at. The d-scanner has a wide variety of uses that can be used even by total beginners. This class teaches the fundamentals of using this tool in a format easily understandable by the newest of EVE players. Guest Lecturer Kora K returns to teach this class.

This will be an informal class on increasing your survivability in EVE. This will not be a lecture, but a practical fleet and mumble discussion. We will be covering such topics as the pod-savers tab, bookmarking, undocking and docking, safe spots, what to do in a gate camp, etc. Everything we discuss will be practiced under simulated wartime conditions. Mining is a cornerstone career in EVE; without miners, there wouldn't be enough raw materials to supply the industrialists who manufacture the massive fleets of ships we use. In this class, we will explore the role of miners in the larger picture of the EVE universe, and how miners are able to create a reliable way of making ISK or producing minerals for manufacturing. The primary focus of this class is on ore and ice mining. Felecia Venucci will teach you all you need to know about blasting these resources and turning them into profit.
