Rust and dust not accumulating anymore?

That feature didn't last long O.o
It's been a week and I just "cleaned my ship" and it looks exactly the same. Before it only took a couple of days. Even my drones are shiny sparkly - They used to be rust buckets after a couple of days.

Rust and dust? THATS GREAT!! The more rust and dust on a ship the better.
I believe that someone is working on a way to use that rust and dust to prevent getting a target lock on a ship.
I hope they get it right, think about it, the " TRUST IN THE RUST " saying would be awesome then.

If your ship lasts long enough to get rusty and dusty then you're not having fun.

I'm owning left and right, so yeah.

I'd rather go the other side and ask for a 'repaint' button. 20,000 ISK and all the dents dings, and scrapes go away and the chrome is polished....

Moar physics classes all around! Oxidation in space - what a novel concept.
Dust gathering on an item that makes frequent hyperjumps.
What story was this...Neverending?

I asked for a "shipwash" in the F&I forum and was told of some buttons on the skins panel I can press that cleans up the ship. Haven't tried it yet.

I too like to keep my ride spotless.

Has nothing to do with space. It's all about docking in Minmatar stations.

See https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=6392759#post6392759. Have you changed your graphics settings recently? Make sure the shader quality is set to high. I just cleaned my ship as a test and see a remarkable difference from accumulated grit since 3/14 (a month not just a week). Note that cleaning my ship did not take effect immediately. I only saw the results after restarting the client.

Ahh shader wasn't maxed out for some reason. Yeah now I see rust buckets everywhere. Thanks! First useful reply.
