As the title say, someone has destroyed all the POCOs in Penirgman and then G0P-DROP has seeded all 9 planets with Custom Offices Gantries. After more than 24 hours those gantries are still there, non-activated.
Why someone would do that? It seem a waste of isks.

Possible. I have invested a few isks to bother back. If they did that to troll before leaving this low level alt will get a few gantry killmails.

Dammit! I should have called it "One cat " corp. Gheppi is good as it is a kind of vulture, but that would have been better.

In the hopes that you will WD the POCO owners. Then... the REAL owners of the POCO will offer "assistance" to the holders of said POCO's and curb stomp you. Common merc tactics. Big smile

Civil discourse is uniquely human. After all, when is the last time a pride of lions and a herd of water buffalo negotiated SOV over a watering hole? Never. Someone either gets their ass kicked or eaten. At the end of the day someone holds SOV.

You cant use them, you have to WD said corp to get to put up your own. So its a great tactic especially if the planets and POCOs are even remotely valuable. Denial of service for POCOs. I would also assume it might have something to do with how gantries are reinforced or destroyed but that is assumption on my part. But basically it amounts to how much those specific POCOs and planets are worth to you and how much youll pay or do to get access to them.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

My read on that system is 3 ship kills and lots of jumps in the last 48 hours.

If you know the company isn't local, you have the advantage being local.

It probably means you know they locals and you can War Dec the corp with the Customs stations and get other local companies to help you take them down.

You could also pick one and put up a tower or two as close as possible and start getting them ready for conflict. Your message would be clear. If other local corps did the same, the G0P-DROP corp would get the hint they aren't welcome in the system.

Would you prefer activated charcoal? I'm sure that could be arranged.

Well, the result was pretty lame.

i thought the outcome would be either a fought war or some AFK killing of gantries. At most the retrieval or activation of the gantries.
All valid outcomes.

Instead the gantries simply have changed owner to the Lizaveta corporation.

Essentially it is a way to keep a planet without a POCO while avoiding any chance of being wardecced.

Seem pretty lame, but I suppose legal.

Someone know if this tactic will give some advantage when the citadels will come? "Locking a good planet spot will do something for them?

I reckon whoever put them up was unaware of how to activate them properly, and did not have the parts needed to hand

....and then couldn`t be bothered any more

A few of us have blown up people's pocos before just to confuse the **** out of them. Didn't bother putting any of our own up, just blew up theirs. Some losec system we frequented, they where setting up towers yada yada yada, wanting to claim the space and we where bored. Was completely pointless on our part, but there reaction made it worth it.

So I agree with troll or bait, or both.

Edit - missed the part where they got activated.

Keep shooting it every hour until the owners are upset at the mails ;p

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Those are alt holding corps belong ing to pirat , i have a list of them somewhere and i know those two without having to check.
Im assuming its just them being arse's about it and keeping them as is till euni goes back to sleep.
Theyve spent the best part of the last month tearing down the ones euni took off them and gave away for free.

Because they haven't been activated. They only switched corp, keeping them inactive.

After a month they are still there, locking the planet and avoiding wardecs.
