Expanding on portrait backgrounds for events

Thank you CCP devs for jumping on this idea of player event portrait backgrounds (while waiting for takeout no-less Lol).

New Portrait Backgrounds for World War Bee and Citadels.

I feel this is a great step and hope to see you take it further:
-AUR purchased and market tradeable backgrounds
-Holiday rewards (time limited licenses/permanent versions*)
-CCP community competitions to design character portrait background

*time limited portraits are removed from inventory after x number of days. Case 1, CCP may auto update the character portrait to remove background, or Case 2, player may keep portrait as long as they don't update character.

If only there was not the "AUR purchased" mentioned. Why does everything "good and vanity" need to be AUR these days? CCP make more then enough money to sustain the game and profit from it with the subscription. Why do I need to pay more money in addition to my subscription to have access to vanity items? (And no, don't even think about the crap of "buy it with ISK in the market"; there is already a ton of AUR things not available in the market or that I would potentially be interested to buy they are ridiculously overpriced.)

Lets be realistic. CCP and shareholders want to make money and people will buy vanity items regardless of the qualms you have with this long running industry trend.

There's a long time community consensus that people want pirate and lesser faction background portraits. I'm glad CCP is at least doing something now with portraits, but I can understand the saltiness that updates began now with World War Bee.

It's something people can approach the Devs on en mass at Fanfest about. Approaching them with honey rather than salt may be a better tactic.

I already support my vision with 14 EURO/per month/account but my monthly subscription is apparently not enough anymore. I would rather have full access to the all game items with that subscription and not have to pay more money in addition because I pay this subscription for a full game and not just parts of it, unless it's stated otherwise in the TOS. I also do not see why I should support an industry trend that is nothing but a shameless money grab.

So buy it off the market then.

It's cosmetic, seriously. Skins d not matter in the slightest.
