Keep up the great work improving the small things, I am looking forward most to the watchlist and local changes! Being a logi pilot will be a whole lot easier now, and my laptop won't cry when I try to load local chat with 500+ people.

One question though, will the option to remove characters portrait's affect the members list and the chat window? or will it affect one or the other with separate options? Personally I would like to see the smug faces of people as we AAAAAA chain in local, while not having to look at the 100 other people in the member list.

There are performance concerns with increasing the number of watched items too high, as each one is an extra damage update that the server needs to track and send out. Going from 10 to 15 shouldn't be too huge a leap for the hamsters, but we'll be keeping an eye on how this change turns out and review as necessary.



thanks for the reply can i ask how much of a performance issue you guys think adding the extra 5 will add, will it be 50% of the standard watch list server needs or will it be exponential data growth

Thank you for the compact chat contacts! That is by far the best feature here, especially for Local. (Personally, I don't like Local, but if we're going to have it, it might as well work properly).

And I second Rifflix. Give us counts by Standing Type in Local. For bonus points, let us drag that into another channel (intel channels).

Fix POSes.  Every player should want one (even if all players can't have one).

What's I'd love to see is horizontal bars on the overview so that the overview can have a "tactical overlay" put on it too. The set up for this feature would be a new tab for the overview settings that would have maybe 5 bars that you can set at any meter distance, a color for each and then of course a check box to toggle it all.

This toggling should also be doable via a hotkey.

This way you can have 5 different colored lines that each mean something to you to separate overview entries when sorted by range. This way you can know that as soon as someone passes under the yellow line for instance, they know that it's in optimal :P

I could set it at something like:
Red - Neut range
Blue - Web Range
Teal - Point Range
Orange - Optimal
Yellow - Optimal + Falloff

see? :P

Probably unrelated but anyone else wave their mouse across space and those annoying 'tool tips' IMMEDIATELY pop up and stay popped up? Makes trying to click on something in space annoying. A way to change the delay time (since I haven't found it yet) would be great.

Keep up these developments, logical improvements are Great.

Thanks team BFF. I mentioned it in the survey thing but ill say it again here.

These small changes have alot of effect on the game. New features are nice but i think improvements to old systems like the ones your making are amazing.

A massive anoyance i have is that when you board a shield ship from an SMA it comes out at half shield. Why is this neccisary? Armor ships dominate PvP already.

Corporation roles are also an issue especially living in wormholes! It would be nice if CEO's could add new layers of roles into the corp as opposed to just the default ones!

Great stuff here. Here's some more for next time!


  1. Let us 'Stack All' items in a corp hangar / drone bay that's nearly full just like we can in a cargohold. It's really frustrating having to pull items out of a corp hangar then drop them back in again just to stack them together.
  2. A 'Fit Stack to Ship' option, allowing you to fit multiple identical modules to a ship from a single stack. For example; adding 8 turrets at once.
  3. Let us move quantities of items with a shorthand. For example; rather than typing 10000000 in the quantity box we can instead type '10m'. Or '300k' instead of '300000'. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease.

The issue where shield bonuses leave you with uncharged shields when boarding in space (or when jumping through a gate, for fleet bonuses) should be addressed with this release. If the ship had fully-charged shields before it was affected by a bonus, it should keep fully-charged shields once the bonus has been applied. I recommend you test your particular case on Sisi, and see if you notice any improvement.

Best change since the portraits were first introduced. Having a chatlist full of silhouettes (still annoying that I have to remove portraits manually by changing OS settings) is a massive waste of space. +1000 internets
