Convert Triage Carrier to Force Auxiliary / Force Auxiliary skill rank

It was brought up in the Eve Vegas videos an idea to convert carriers with the triage module fitted into force auxiliary ships. Has this been revisited? I know some of Eve's carrier pilots are purely to complete the fuction that the force auxiliary ships will be taken over. It seems reasonable that they'd be converted vs having to either reprocesses or sell of your carrier and build/buy a force auxiliary to be able to do the role you already were.

Also why should force auxiliary skill be a rank 14 skill? Carriers it made sense, the skill is also the same skill used in supers. Also carriers were capable of so many tasks, that the time was rewarded with several capabilities. Here we are spliting the ship apart and one of it's roles is being taken over by a new ship. I think it would be more reasonable for this ships skill rank to be equal to that of the dread skills, rank 12. Dreads are a dead end skill, you get your dread and that is it, carriers lead into super carriers, now the force auxiliary skill will be much as the dread, dead end. You get your ship and that's as far as it goes. a 14 rank multiplier doesn't seem to be on par with ships in it's class.

I'm more upset that i spent over two bill and nearly a year so that i could have a capital logistics bpo at 10 me and just when there was 20 days left they announced the change

i do agree that it should be an X12 skill

also i just looked and the new fighter skills are also going to be x12

this was fine when it was the only capital weapon a carrier could use

but now you are going to be forced to field more than one type if you want to have the max number of flights out so thats at least two x12 skills and you will need 3 if you want to get all of the weapons for this ship

compare to dreads 1-2 x7 skills

(however this will be fine if dread weapons are raised and you dont need a spec skill for the t2 fighters/guns)

I think they should just let players decide. Just make them pick one before they undock.

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."

Check this post out.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

Awesome, nice to see CCP meet players half way. I do have to admit, I still feel as though the skill rank is higher then it should be. This is likely to effect future players more then current given the refund of SP.

not really we all now have to train more than 2x as long to do the same things its just older players have already done half the training
