Oh Plastic Wrap, what art thou?

I've had this itch for years now. Stored away in a 0.0 system I have not had access to in many years, among some junk I just haven't bothered to trash, is a particular plastic wrap freight container. The system is FAT-6P, and currently managed by I N F A M O U S.

The itch is to find out what is in that plastic wrap. I can't courier it for some reason. I know it was a contract that wasn't fulfilled shortly after the contract system was introduced into EVE. So this goes back to late 2003 I believe. Which is right about when the alliance(s) I was involved with was up near FAT-6P. FIX Alliance and CFS Navy.

Now here is why my curiosity is out of proportion. I had two things go missing around that time - which was easy for me then cause I used to drink like a fish and wander around EVE aimlessly back then. One of those items was a Caldari Navy Raven which I think were introduced around this time. That would be cool to have back - but they are a dime a dozen these days. What I would really like to be in that plastic wrap would be a shipment of Kestrels - each with 1 Cruise Missile loaded in a Standard Launcher. Back then you could do that - and it was the perfect ship with a trajectory rules of the day for taking out interceptors. Today it would just be a novelty, and I'm not sure if the mechanics of the game would allow it. After CCP nerfed that fit - they still allowed ships already fitted that way to stay like that after the change - but once you launched the current cruise missiles you could load new ones.

Anyways - over the years I've come in and out of EVE. I always see that plastic wrap there - and it's one of the few stations I haven't purged (either by contract or trashing). I always ask the sovereignty holder for access, and understandably I haven't been given permission to go back in time yet. Because that's what that plastic wrap is to me... It's my time capsule from when EVE was still very young. Very fresh... Very exciting.

One of these days.

Doesn't right click > Show content work?

Right click > Repackage?

If the plastic wrap isn't 'assembled' it's just that. An empty plastic wrap, left after failing a courier contract.

Contract it to me. I'll let you know.

Put char to some SW renter group for 1-2 day , and dock to the station.
Renter corps don't care, they need members to pay smaller monthly fee.

your time frame is way off btw.

FiX was not in fat- in 03, that was still XF space. iirc

And contracts came out in like 2008 or some **** like that. not 03. it was called escrow back then.

OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!

Alcoholics have two uncanny attributes; formidable memories, and precise senses of time.

As long as the tale of the hunt is told by the hunter, and not the lion, it will favor the hunter.

Yes, I realize FIX was in JK-FIX (Which is now Querious). - But they had the FAT-6P station for a bit after CA/Curse war....
