The January release has been deployed on January 12th during a regular downtime. To report issues with the release on PC, please post in this thread.

This release brought an Electronic Warfare effects bar and the new Tronhadar Ink SKIN line starting with Minmatar hulls, as well as, improvements to the new star map and further enhancements to the opt-in camera controls. Additionally, numerous smaller, yet not less important tweaks, fixes and improvements have been deployed. And finally new CREST options have been introduced which allows for better third party tools.

something very spooky with editing MOTDs of custom (and corp) channels. Whenever saved it all just explodes and the stuff in there changes places randomly

also some problems when tring to copy paste stuff or make links in there.

Edit: taking back all previous edits, it seems just to be over my head and there are problems with pretty much everything regarding the MOTD

Please go to the settings menu (press ESC in game), then go to the General Settings tab. There on the bottom left side you find a checkbox "Try the New Camera" which allows you to opt-in to the new camera controls.

Text input box cursor is borked. The text is set a couple of pixels too low so that the cursor is offset.

If you work on the text chat functions, why won't reintroduce the CTRL Delete/Backspace? Actually making the chat more useful.

new camera reverted my ship i fly now upside down. also noticed the wormhole sound is different when you put it less than 50% total mass remaining it started to give bad whooooom sound , previous sound effect on wormhole mass was much better.

Bio ruined, I hope we get a rollback to fix this .

Also, the Item Category drop-down list on contracts is still out of alphabetical order six months after I submitted a bug report which got promptly closed.

In-game Notepad accessory screws itself into knots whenever you try to edit something.

Posted it before, but this seems the right place:

Fitting Window no longer has a Show Charge Info for Launchers. (No scan probe strength of missile/rocket infos to be found)

Issues found so far this morning.

1. Mouse Cursor still chooses random times to stutter, refuse to respond, and otherwise work properly.
2. Still missing: Custom Choices on Overview Icons as promised.
3. Still missing: Return of Region Description Flavor Text as promised.
4. Camera sometimes remains 'behind' while my ship warps off into the next location. Yes it's very dramatic, but it makes targeting when I arrive a bit of a struggle.
5. The 'Black Screen Undock Effect' is still happening. Timed it once, it's occasionally spiking a full 10 second delay before I can do a single thing but be a gank target.
6. Loot at annoying times yells at me that it's in transit from the wreck to my cargo hold so hold my horses and quit clicking loot. Why? In the 2500 range, plenty of space, what gives?

That's what I've found after about an hour and a half of playing. Will add more if I find any for January's Release Customer Based Quality Testing Initiative.

Seems that zooming with left+right mouse button ignores the "invert zoom direction" setting, and only does invert.
