Teach CONCORD to warp in the same way then belt NPCs warp in or let them jump in via stargates. The whole NPC spawning mechanics looks quite odd in general and may need reconsidering.

If you take all the sand out of the box, only the cat poo will remain.

When rightclicking space there could be a new option, "save current location" since opening people and places going to the places tab and clicking "Add Location" is a bit long winded.

EDIT or a right click on the capacitor.

On the notifications section of EVE Mail, there was once an option to 'Mark as Unread' so that the notification would not delete upon closing EVE Mail after you'd read it. There are times I'd like to refer back to the notification without having to keep EVE Mail open. I understand autodeletion of notifications once marked as read in general, but the ability to 'Mark as Unread' would also be useful in case I have one that is pertinent to a future task.

Increase the length limit for notepad notes. 3900 characters is way too short, especially when you use a lot of markup (colours, links etc.) which appear to contribute to the limit.

If server space is a problem, let us save them locally and export them. (edit: it occurs to me that there is no limit to the length of eve mails, there are a lot more of them, and they are kept forever...)

Same goes for the bio, only without the "save locally" caveat, obviously. I want to be able to put all 20 of Niven's Laws in my alt's bio unabridged. Stop silently nerfing the bloody thing!

This has been said, but...

- Orbits.

Planets orbiting stars, rotating on its axis, moons orbiting planets, etc.
Actual position of objects could be calculated in client, given an intertial frame of reference and an epoch (and the Keplerian elements), every time you enter a system.

- A revamp of the UI elements. The mail icon looks out of place, and the others are old. The new font is great. Now it's time for the icons to be improved.

- When will the corp logo creation tool be upgraded? The one for medals is great.

- Procedurally generated Captain quarters. Because every single quarter is the same, same room, with the same elements in the same places (You get tired of seeing the same Quafe bottles). Some variation would really improve the experience.

Edit: I remembered another one.

- Autopilot "Warp to stargate" deviation: 1 meter for every 1,000 kilograms, with a +/- 5% accuracy (not affected by skills). In this way, small ships (shuttles and frigates) will almost land on the gate, while big ships (like industrials, cruisers, battleships, etc.) will land far from it and will need to approach the gate (and be more vulnerable).

'Warp To' distances:

40,000 years from now, I can drop short of a gate by 100 KM, but not go beyond a gate by the same distance? Really?

How about you change the 'Warp to Within' menu option to 'Warp to...' with sub-options of the existing stuff, but with a positive distance as well, e.g
+100 KM
+ 70 KM
+ 50 Km
+ 30 KM
+ 20 KM
+ 10 KM
0 KM
- 10 KM
- 20 KM
- 30 KM
- 50 KM
- 70 KM
-100 KM

Same for the Set Default submenu.

In theory, it wouldn't require new logic to be written - the same distance and capacitor calculations would be used.
Probably an exaggeration, but couldn't you just copy-paste the existing 'Warp to Within' code and change the distances to positive values?

Also, El 1974 makes a good point in an earlier post (https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=557993#post557993) - why is the maximum deviation from "warp to zero" set to 100 KM? Why not 160 or 200 or 400? People are just going to make bookmarks to those distances anyway - this might reduce the clutter of bookmarks in your database, and what is wrong with the concept of warping to a perch, then warping direct to the gate? Why should I slow-boat?

There's no lore reason I can think of - is it just an oversight / what was thought of at the time, or is there a specific gameplay reason, such as allowing people to fall into traps, to increase the chances of PvP, for example; basically a bottleneck to get players together? (I'll just say that, if gate-camps are considered the only way to get people together, then I think the core gameplay mechanics might need looking at. But there are plenty of anti-gate-camp threads to look at for that topic.)

Add a king to EVE that is sending you on a quest. Slaying a dragon or something and get the hand of the princes in return. There are plenty of new players who keep asking for that.

The compare tool.

Right now it starts out showing a jumbled, unsorted mess with only one attribute, meta group, showing. Meta group is useless, however, since you can tell what it is by looking at the name anyway.

Remove meta group (at least it should not be checked by default). All modules in the compare tool should start out sorted from low to high meta level. Additionally, a way to open the compare tool from the neocom (perhaps in a submenu) would be cool. Maybe it could include a search bar to find modules, much like the market?

Additionally, modules on the "Variations" tab should be sorted by meta level.

Under corporation>recruitment please provide the option to search by keyword, if possible, where you search corp descriptions for your specified term.

Sometimes you might be looking for a corp with particular characteristics or engaged in a specified activity, such as a members from a certain country, involved in incursions, RP, faction warfare, or a specific region.

An addendum to my request about notepad notes...

Please fix the bugs in it!!!

Frequently I select some text, then cut or copy it, only to find some other text was copied instead. This makes it quite impossible to use these functions. How hard can it be to write an editor that actually works??

It's had this bug for years. Please, please fix it!

edit: This applies to eve mails too. You just can't use advanced formatting in mails of more than trivial length. Linking frequently doesn't work because what you have selected is frequently cropped at the start and/or merged with the next line before being sent to the link-search function.

Gas cloud harveter specialty ship and/or unnerf the soft cap on gsh's that allow you to fit 8 to a ship but only allows you to use 5 when you're in space

Black ops - what the people above me said

deadspace variations of medium neuts just like there are for nos

undo what was done to scanning this last time, it's just too grabby with everything - tries to show you stacks of info or snags your bubble to resize them when you don't want to do that

Fix the powergid on the occator, if it's above 99.7% of max fitting it won't let you undock

t3 frigs and bc's - just do it.

Leave the naga as is but do a torp bc - just for me Cool

The instation license tab - where it says if you're pilot's license is in good standing or not - would actually be useful if it could tell you how many days you had left

Fix torpedo flight time and speed so I don't get 10km discrepencies on sniping stealth bombers when I rig them for flight time and missile velocity

Drones....still not doing what they're told

That's all I can think of immediately.

Some consistency, one way or the other, would be nice when updating the Eve client with a patch. Sometimes you restart Eve for me, sometimes I sit there for 10+ seconds waiting to see if it's going to happen. Yes, I know it's only 10 seconds, but it gives the impression that you aren't in complete control of my life.

Local-filter-options idea +1

Multiple-manufacturing/science-installs idea +1

In the same way we can right-click -> show/hide on overview, give us right-click -> add/remove from visible brackets. I understand this can be done with enough clicking in the current state of the game. I just want to streamline this paper-cut.

Allow me to tag an overview item, even if I'm not in a fleet. This will let me keep track of which of the 7 Dire Guristas Friginators keeps jamming me once I can target again.

Oh Em Ge, let me export/import UI window locations so I don't have to reconfigure every frelling window across all my accounts/toons after every major-patch/expansion/booboo-undo/flight-of-fancy you release.

Please add a slash-command to chat that will let me clear my chat screen. The way I currently do it also affects anyone else in my chat window which is rude.

Much love for your previous efforts. Even without these fixes, this is the best game I've ever played.

Better missile effects!

Me and a friend were discussing the current "Balls of light" that my drake emits... We compared it to World of warcraft...

I know we will never get Macross missile spam, but at least redo missiles like you redid turrets.

F.Y.I, in case you hadn't discovered it yet, the current mechanism for unsubscribing is to edit your post and untick 'Receive notifications'.

Latest release has the Overview retaining some ships in the list after a warp begins. They really aren't there, but take a while to get cleaned off after completing the warp.

Latest releases has screwed up cargo handling from hanger items list to cargo hold. Partial loads are totally messed up - often requiring moving entire ship load to items, consolidating partial stacks, then moving back (and dealing with the "how many do you want to move" dialog yet again). This was a problem with Fuel Bays before the patches - now the infection has spread.

Highlighted gates on route in Overview - PLEASE! make the highlight color selectable, or use a more visible color like green, or perhaps even more spiffy - use the sec status color (just make the yellow darker).
